Does Martin get him out of there in the later rounds? Or does Barker UD him?

Barker would completely outbox Murray, Murray is very limited

I think it would go to points, it would be a very close fight, would love to see this one happen.

    What he said.
Murray is seriously overrated. I haven't seen anything really convincing for him to beat any world level fighter yet. IMO lost to Sturm.

Barker outmanoeuvres and picks him apart for a 9-3 or 10-2 type decision, ive seen nothing of Murray to suggest he could outbox someone as skillful as Barker.

Disagree. Look what Murray did to Nick Blackwell, absolutely broke him in two. And look at how Billy Joe Saunders struggled badly with Blackwell, shows how good a job Murray did on him. Plus, Murray (despite the hometown judges) beat Sturm, it was a great performance considering that he was still a novice.

Murray might even stop Barker late, it is hard to say how this fight would go, it is an intriguing one.

I must be missing something or overrating Barker:huh, that said i do think Murray is good and not limited like another poster pointed out.

On the other hand Barker might just outbox him, but Murray would be a handful alright. I would be very sure either way. Its a good fight and probably the most likely one that will get made out of the domestic middleweights (after current fights).

Murray is better than I thought. Got a good look at him at the Hatton/Senchenko card that I managed to acquire free tickets to (no way I'd have paid for that card!)

He's pretty solid technically and a real presence in the ring. That alone is something he has over Barker, Barker can talk all he likes about man strength but we'll see when he fights at a higher level again.

I think Barker dominates this early with extra speed, a little more class, but he doesn't get Murray out of there and Martin's consistency and strength will definitely be a large factor.

More or less a 50/50 fight.

Murray certainly has enough to make the fight very competitive although I lean towards Barker. He just has better skills, accuracy, a better defence, and is a more intelligent fighter. Murray is big and strong and athletic but doesn't have a big punch and is a little bit limited technically, wouldn't be a massive shock if he won though and I am sure the bookies will have tight odds.

There seems to be this idea that Barker is not as tough as Murray because he doesn't have a skin head and a **** tatoo.

Is this idea in your head or have you ever heard anyone say it, or seen it written?
