Carter leaps across the ring with a baiting left and clubs Morris with a right. Their heads smash after his momentum brings them into a collision. Morris is cut. Jeff Hines takes a moment to examine the cut. Carter is leading with power shots on the way in, missing some but cracking Morris across the face with a few. Morris has a bloody nose. Carter low-tackles him into the ropes. Counter left by Morris while leaning back into them. Clinch by Morris. Carter sticks a jab, but Morris sticks one back. Carter isn't comfortable taking his time and eschewing the carpet bombing, seeming more unsure of himself. Morris takes advantage by hopping away to get a breather and clear some cobwebs. Carter reaches with jabs and hooks and falls short.

Round 3

Carter is bulling his way in, throwing big hooks. Morris is spoiling, pushing down with both arms on Carter's broad shoulder blades and squirming his way along each set of ropes. The ref warns them both to watch the cranial impact as they scrap in close. Body shot by Carter, and Morris is down. Hines rules it a slip. Morris circles left and paws a jab. Big clubbing combo by Carter, blocked. Morris keeps his guard up and hugs the ropes. Carter jabs up over his knuckles. Carter really can't figure the jab out.

Round 4

Carter is slamming in on Morris and spinning him out when grabbed. Plunging rights to the body by Carter. Morris tries clinching and gets rapped across the head above the left ear by a high-roaming right. Morris is looking as though he might be seeking escape, reacting badly to each shot. Wobbly legs, even when blocking. Carter has 90 seconds left to get the incipient knockout. Big right hand by Carter, coming up off the canvas and landing on his toes after the miss. Morris backs up and paws a light left jab, then circles into a corner. Morris quickly realizes his mistake and shuffles out before Carter gets revved up with clubbing power combos. Right hand over the top by Carter, snared on Morris' left forearm and used to pull him in to waste some clock.

it is strange for me. boxrec says its heavyweight but both dont look any near heavyweight

What happened to the goodjohn fight?

 

I'm going to take a couple of hours sleep, and assume I can watch some better quality fights when I wake up.
