Ugh, man. You can't do anything anymore without having to sign up on Twitter or Facebook or some type of social media. I've always prided myself in not having an account, but I may have to sell out now. :verysad
Yep, it's frustrating to me. The thing is I've been applying to just a bunch of different sites and at the end it's always "What's your twitter handle or facebook account." It's like....what? I don't have that why do I need that? "Oh, well, you need it to promote your work. I'm like, nah, that just rubs me the wrong way. To me it just sounds too much like selling out and just a celebrity type culture. "Hey look at me, I'm amazing check me out, lolz " It's just...weird, it doesn't fit my style. :bart
I tooootally relate. Ive got a Facebook, but I think ive made maybe, maybe 5 'posts' in 4 years lol. Pretty much just use it to view family and friends photos, its also decent for news updates too depending on who you subscribe to. I cant stand the usual posts from people, so ive blocked all their updates from appearing on my feed, but I do get a lot of boxing news, political and science news by subscribing to certain pages. But I def understand where youre coming from, to the fullest.
