    PRIDE 31

    Coleman v Rua

Shogun posted his arm badly, legit win or an accident?

Personally Id rank it the same as if you posted your arm via gnp and got tapped...

I guess because he's the one who CAUSED the injury. I'm not sure, I've pondered over it for years.

    What do you think?

I'm currently downloading every Pride event from 2000 to 2007.

I'm up to Pride 17. Nogueira vs Herring.

Pride 10 was the best one so far. Probably the best MMA card I've ever seen. Every fight was awesome.

EDIT - Sakuraba ****s his collar bone and when Wanderlei hugs him he gives him a slap on it.

    Condit v Hendricks
    R1
Johnny come out swinging and connects with a big left, backs Carlos against the cage. JH gets a TD, Condit very active off his back with a few elbows and sub attempts. Back to the feet, JH gets two TD'S and works for a guillotine briefly. Back to the feet, and Carlos backs JH against the cage, Johnny connects with a huge left and starts swinging like a made man, Hendricks works the TD, but Condit rolls into a kimura and takes his back. Johnny stands up with Carlos still on his back with his hooks in. CC lets go and both men swing at each other, a front kick/ right hook combo seems to drop JH or he loses his balance, but gets straight back up and of course starts swinging with his left again

Great round, having trouble scoring it tbh tempted to give it to Condit due to the variety of his offense and being able to get back up and even take Hendrick back

1-0 Condit, again though very close...

    R2
CC opens up the round with kicks looking to keep JH out of range to land his left. JH fakes a shot then connects with a left backing CC up but Condit responds with a flying knees which finds its mark and both guys are exchanging punches in the middle of the cage again. JH works the body with a left off a lazy Condit leg kick, backs him up against the cage and scores a TD. Again before his ass hits the matt Carlos work a kimura on Johnnys right arm, JH is able too straighten it up and work it free.

Brief exchanges on the ground is followed by CC getting back up, and he connects with a right which backs JH up but didnt seem to connect except on JH's forearms. Condit connects with 3 gets back Hendricks againt presses forward windmilling that left hand and finds CC'S chin. Condit replies with another flying knee to the face, of all places. JH works hard for the td against the cage and gets it, both men looking really ****ing tired now. Hendricks is looking to catch his wind in half guard but Condit just elbows him in the head and creates enough space to get back up.

With half the round gone, JH pushes CC up against the cage and looks to dirty box, but throws a wide left which indicates he has really run out of gas. Condit hits him with some punishing knees to the face, a 1-2 and another flying knees. Hendricks uses this opportunity to get the TD and tries to work the arm triangle, but Condit gets up again and connects with a good right hand. Brief exchange on the feet and another td for jh, Condit scores with elbows and gets back up as the bell sounds

    2-0 Condit

    R3
CC opens with a kick and solid 1-2's, Hendrcks works the single and pushes Carlos back against the cage. JH lands rights, Condit elbows and punches of his own. Carlos works another kimura, and gets back up

JH scores with another hard left, Condit fires back with a straight left of his own. Condit misses with a head kick punch combo and gets taken down again. Johnny tries to take his back, but Condit gets back up. Good knees to the legs from the back clinch by Johnny, and another TD. Carlos scores with elbows and hammerfists from his back, and JH lets him back up to the feet. Carlos works some leg kicks, seemingly in an attempt to fake and land to the head of Johnny. And it works as Carlos connects with a huge right hand which rocks JH, and luckily for him Condit misses with the following upper cut

Hendricks shoots for the leg and manages to get his underhooks in, Carlos escapes, clearly looking the fresher of the two with 1:30 left on the clock, Condit presses forward with strikes and gets taken down again, Johnny looking to hold on, CC again gets back up (getting tired of typing that ) and Hendricks eats a huge left hook and flying knee combo...as you do...Hendricks gets his hooks in and works the TD, Carlos rolls out beautifully and both men end the fight doing their best Frye v Takiyama impressions

3-0 Condit, but the 1st could have gone either way

If he connects like he did against Condit in the first round then the fight is on imo

Yeah Hendricks gsp is a tough fight for gsp. Condit is much more durable And is a better standup guy than gsp and that's what gave jh the problems. Condit ate some big shots in that one that would have done the job agains most fighters.

Watched fedor fujita, that was a brawl. Fujita should never have went for the bearhug after rocking him. The finishing liver kick left hook right hand into the rnc was brutal.

Fujita was the Big Country of Pride, pretty much there to take a beating. A tough SOB though
