How would rank the following welterweights in terms of overall toughness?

    Consider the following: The ability to take single or combination shots to the head, body, and general recovery ability.

    Rank them 1 - 10. All welterweights are in their prime. The welterweights are:

    Floyd Mayweather

    I meant in numerical order as I don`t think they are all on the same level in terms of toughness. I would put them like this:

    1. Gavilan
    2. Leonard
    3. Mosley
    4. Armstrong
    5. Duran
    6. Dela Hoya
    7. Mayweather
    8. Burley
    9. Chavez
    10. Pac

    De la hoya, Duran, Mayweather, Pac, Burley, Chavez, etc. were not primed at welterweight.

    In my opinion Dela Hoya was still in the prime of his career when he took on Mosley at welter, Duran when he took on Leonard and so on. That said, Dela Hoya, Duran, Mayweather and Chavez certainly peaked (were at their best) at lightweight. Just my opinion though.

    I think you have underrated Oscar and Shane a bit. They were never KO'd or TKO'd at welterweight. Moreover, both of them have had fights with big time punchers at welterweight. I think they are on the same level as Chavez.

    I love Mosley and he certainly is tough but he got hurt in the 2nd or 3rd round by Forrest and was hurt the rest of teh fight. He never fully recovered. Now its awesome that he lasted and didnt get KO but still. Ive seen Floyd hurt like that twice and in alot of people's mind he came back to win the round or atleast made it close while taking over completely in the following round

    Seriously those guys are as tough as it gets. Throw Basilio in there and those may be the toughest list of welters ever.
