Liam Walsh v Harrison

Ricky would spank Harrison with ease in my opinion but its impossible to totally write someone like Harrison off completely because hes got a lot of fight still left in him. I think it would be a massive draw and a lot of people would want to see it. I would definitely tune in even though I could see Ricky doing a number and winning by a lopsided UD.
The Walsh fight will give us a real idea of how much is left in Scott

 

Just reading through your post Moog, how on earth can you mention Scott in the same sentence has Broner and Vazquez,both are active world champs and huge fights for Ricky which will happen.
Scott struggled and you can't say he never against joe in the secc,come on pal get in the real world:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

 

What I actually clearly said Billy was that this is 3 fights the fans want Ricky to have, and Ricky has knocked them back (never compared scott to any of them)! 1) a massive scottish fight 2) Unification fights. So that's chances to win multiple titles in same weight class turned down and the biggest possible domestic showdown in the division turned down ! To knock all of these fights back puts negative question marks against Rickys ability/faith in it. Should take a leaf out of Carl Froich book to be honest

remember roach said he would kiss juans ass if he was clean,well id like for Billy to do something similar if scott fights ricky and wins.

 

I'd be the first to shake his hand Billy but we both know 1.The fight won't materialise
2. there's not a hope in hell Scott beats Ricky

 

I think those that want Burns Harrison are in the minority. Despite being scottish (and a Burns fan) I have no interest in it. Vasquez and Broner should be where Ricky is aiming. Not someone with 2 fights in however many years.

Why don't you tee up a sparring session, I know Scott would love it and would be beneficial to both, for theyre up and coming fights.

I asked for Scott to spar Ricky before and Peter said NO I wonder why lol
For this fight I have great sparring again,,starts Monday for 4 weeks really looking forward to 11th may

 

To be perfectly honest SG77 I wouldn't like to see the fight happen Eithier,I had a great education from Peter and learnt so much with Scott in the gym everyday.
But Ricky would be far far to good for Scott just now and I'd get little satisfaction from victory

 

I expect Burns to win his mandatory defence,but would be surprised if he stopped the man,who I think may turn out to be better than people on here are saying.Anyway,Im sure hell be tougher than Scott would be.Just can't see him beating Walsh,who is a good young prospect,and IMO will do well to go the distance.If he DID win,some great fights there for him.Rees,Mitchell,maybe Murray,but surely Burns by now has proved a level above this.
