DeMori speaking in the ring now, just going on about how he trains himself and thanking a few people for somehow getting him to 20-1-2 when he can't even get a convincing win over a cruiser with a losing record.

Pasi has an arm injury... lucky escape for De Mori... Could have been a very close fight. Also it was a very close fight till the injury. That De Mori is just a low level Heavyweight.
Seems he wants to stay in germany in order to fight better opposition than he could get in australia. And he is better of here when he wants to face good heavyweights.
Saglam (german heavyweights) says he should weight real heavyweights instead Pasi... I think he means himself:)

Have to say that Pasi looked pretty comfortable in there, looked a suspicious quit to me. If it was legit, well, DeMori was getting beat by a cruiserweight can with an injured shoulder.

Based on what I saw of Saglam against Charr he would beat DeMori very easily. Though Saglam quit suspiciously in that fight too.

Not suspiciously... Saglam has had big problems with his shoulder before (had to take a year off). He said that he had again shoulder problems in the fight and could not move the arm proper.
He wants to get back at 5.11.
Saglam would beat De Mori easy. Respect to De Mori that he wants to fight good fighters in germany.. but in europe it is a total different level of heavyweight boxing than in australia.

Pasi was winning against De Mori till his injury.. seems there are to strong heavyweight and cruiserweights in germany for him. he should go back to australia, he is just not good enough to compete here:D
Dont get me wrong De Mori seems like a good guy. But he clearly is not good enough to make any noise in germany or other places in germany.

I agree - DeMori has a LOT of work to do if he is even going to beat journeyman types.

Pasi looked to me like a German Hastings Rasani. Slick black cruiserweight who you can beat pretty easily if you throw enough punches to overwhelm him, but if you are lazy he will out-move and out-work you. Watching that fight reminded me a lot of watching the Sosnowski/Rasani draw a while back, with the favourite taking the journeyman far too lightly and being punished as a result.

Given that Browne brutally KO'd Rasani last year in round 1 (Rasani is a very similar fighter to Pasi), I think we can safely say that Browne is light years ahead of DeMori at the moment, especially when you take his win over Gavern into account.

It's 3am (or thereabouts) in Australia now so the usual inhabitants of this forum are all asleep. When they wake up and read this they are going to be ripping DeMori to pieces

They were hating on him loads when he was knocking out journeymen so god knows what they'll be like when they find out he was losing to one before a suspect corner retirement.

Very right! De Mori was too lazy. And when he was going to action Pasi was able to move away from him. Also de Mori looked only for the one shot KO. Which was just not there tonight.
But this fight was funny... Pasi looked so small compared to De Mori.

They were hating on him because he was fighting Pasi... Too weak in theire opinion. But they forget that boxing in europa and especially in usa is on a much higher level than in australia. De Mori will get good experience here.:bbb

If DeMori wants to get wins in Europe he should look through the list of no-hopers Pasi got his 22 wins against :yep

Hopefully DeMori can spar with the huge number of decent HWs fighting out of Germany which should teach him plenty of things that you won't learn if you train yourself.

He will also have learned today that in Europe you cannot take your opponents too lightly. He should up his workrate in these fights from now on.

He can also spar with Cruiserweights and Leight Heavyweights here. Germany has an army of them. I am sure he can find some of them who can teach him how to box better. Maybe he can get Pasi... Pasi could teach him how to deal with an opponent who has a halfway good defense.
I still cant not imagin how De Mori got his record and ranking (14 WBA:nut)
Imagin him fighting Scott.... Oh boy this would be a very bad schooling:lol:

He's got 2 more fights scheduled in Germany later this month. After what happened today, here are some fighters they are looking at as potential opponents:

Scott v DeMori would lead to criminal charges for whichever promoter made the fight. :fire

The WBA ranking DeMori is as bad, if not worse, than them ranking Rahman as #1 contender to Povetkin last year. Anyone who watched Povetkin v Rahman will realise just how bad that makes DeMori.
