Tyson ate boxers on the backfoot. Foreman bulldozered anyone standing his ground or coming forward. Is there a fighter not named Muhammad Ali that could go more than five rounds with both types at their zenith?

Louis would get KTFO. Liston on the other hand is a good choice. Maybe Holyfield?

Just speculating here, but perhaps Jeffries could do it.

I'll probably catch some pelters for this but I have serious doubts Joe Louis would react well to an early Tyson or Foreman onslaught. Not saying he definitely gets KO'd in the first few rounds but it's more of a possibility than some people would like to admit.

Of course you never know what will happen until you try the experiment, but Louis has two critical stylistic assets here.

He is a counterpuncher par excelence, and more importantly, he is an absolute master at turning a fighters forward momentum against them.

David Haye would probably have the speed and movement to deal with with an initial onslaught.
