A bout with Pacquiao would have been less compitive.

An overhand can vary in terms of being short or being looped. You can't call the KO shot a pure straight right as his elbow flared out as it does when he throws an overhand right.

Highly unlikely. Manny can close the distance much faster and has more hand-speed than anyone Floyd has ever fought aside from Judah, and is a more explosive puncher.

lol dumb **** OP sabotages his own plan of turning the Mayweather and Marquez factions against one another by saying lucky punch. Incompetent ass doesn't take the safety off and finally pops himself when he figres out how to

it doesnt matter what his elbow did, it matters how the shot traveled and that was in a straight line all he did was turn the shot over as he leaned to his left.

Wtf, hell no. JMM's nose looked worse than what it was. He suffered a much worse bloody nose in the 1st fight and that didn't stop him from putting together a comeback. He was also in trouble in the 2nd fight when he got knocked own; he almost walked to the wrong corner. Once he was able to gather his wits he turned things around.

In the 4th fight I felt the momentum shift to Pac but as long as JMM survived Pac's aggressive attack, which he did, I knew JMM would be fine. I knew he'd slowly start to mount a comeback after round 6 if the fight went further.

Btw, I wanted JMM to win more than I wanted to see Pac-Floyd. The hell with Floyd. He didn't try hard enough (as did Pac) to make the fight therefore JMM came along and took the gold. You snooze you lose.

manny wouldn't have got killed in the 4th fight had he kept it legit in the 3rd. But no he agreed to a robbery of Marquez which caused the rematch.

Thats basically like saying Garcia vs Khan was a lucky shot
Khan has a high workrate which plays into Garcia's counter punching style
Same thing happened in this fight Pac decided to have a high workrate then he got caught

Pac cant beat Marquez, if Pac tries to box it will look like the 3rd one where Marquez clearly won
If he tries to be aggressive like the 4th he will get ktfo again

It's impossible for your arm to shoot straight out when your arm itself is looped. Most people would not call a punch with a bent elbow a straight right as the arm is not straight.

Again the shot is straight its not where your elbow is its not a hook, Juan simply turned the right hand over you can see it clear as a bell in this gif.

Doesnt matter where his elbow was how did the shot travel? in a straight line :deal

What the **** crawled up your ass and died? There is no mistake, overhand shots have a looped arc because of a looped arm. Pacquiao's face was right in the way of it so the punch was short and barely had any arc beyond the initial throw.

The shot did not shoot from point A to point B in a straight line because his arm was not straight.

I don't care to debate this further, the evidence is right there. Most people would not call that kind of shot a straight right hand, like this one:

mate, that punch was a straight-short right hand punch from the shoulder, mostly cuz Pac stepped into it.

that punch wasn't a circular / looped-wide punch like Maidana landed on Khan's face ! Due of the JMM's body position it looks like a circular punch / a hook but it isn't ! :good

My point is that the looped trajectory was cut short by Manny's face. If it had missed it would not have shot straight out. A straight right travels from the chin to the target in one line, Marquez's arm had to loop to some degree to form that arc. Maidana's shot was thrown from farther outside so the loop was obvious.
