I know every boxer needs confidence but for a guy with 12 fights going up against a p4p who has ko power, he sounds so confident as if it was in the bag
He was one of the best amature boxers ever. I don't know how much that will help him, but in his mind it means a lot.
He is one of the most skilled boxers of all time. He knows how good he is, he knows he will KO Donaire.
Id be far more concerned if he showed a lack of confidence. Every boxer whould get in the ring thinking they're going to win. Otherwise, they definately wont.
This, pretty much. You won't find too many boxers around with no confidence in themselves. If that was the case they wouldn't get in the ring in the first place. Don't understand the dislike for Rigo here, to be honest. Seems no different to any other boxer? :think
He knows he's good. That's all. Probably the fact that he's been knocking jr welterweights out in sparring helps too.
He's looking just under the dude's nose in the first picture, for what it's worth, not that it matters.
this stuff about who is looking right at who is overrated a bit. Rigo just does not want to look as though he is looking up at Donaire.
Ive never got peoples obsession with staredowns...like they actually mean anything. These guys are elite level professional fighters, who have been fighting since they were children. Staredowns are for the cameras. Thats it.
