Bellew can't afford anything other than a convincing win, if he loses or gets a dodgy decision in a boring fight then he's pretty much ruined.

No issue with Bellew/Chilemba II. Still a world title eliminator, and not a headliner. I can't imagine Chilemba ever being in an exciting fight, but tactically it should be moderately interesting.

If Chilemba can be a bit more arsed in the early rounds, he should take a comfortable UD..

Fair play for Eddie in delivering this. Can't have been cheap and is obviously a dangerous fight.

The way Eddie was talking last week it seems he is losing patience with Bellew, this could be his 'one last shot at redemption type fight'?

Also if Tony can execute a game plan that works this time round, it shows another side to his abilities, if he cant then he could be in trouble

If he wins in a boring fight then he's far from finished, he has a title shot next!

It'll be another stinker. Is this really the right thing to put on as an appetiser to what will likely be a fun fight?

Hopefully Chilemba turns up in the earlier round and wins a bit more convincingly this time so we dont have to see anymore of Bellew's embarresing behavior.

20,000 seats with the average being at £100 = 2mil

    200,000 buys for ppv at £15 = 3 million.

I don't think 200,000 is estimating too much but I may be wrong. Hatton got over 1
Mil vs mayweather and haye got about 900,000 for valuev. Froch is nowhere near as popular but if the fight is built up properly it will do reasonable numbers. There haven't been any recent ppv's so it is not like people will not pay because they have just seen one.

Obviously we know Kessler is massive in Denmark and he is also well know in Europe and the world (as is froch).

I am not saying it will be massive money but it will add another good chunk to the table.

Don't understand how anyone can complain about this it's not chief support its just a very good meaningful fight. Surely has to be better than the alternatives which were Bellew-Ajisafe or someone like Mitchell-TBA

Mikkell Kessler v Carl Froch II
    (WBA/IBF Super Middleweight)
    George Groves v Brian Magee
    (WBO Inter Super Middleweight
    Martin Gethin v Kevin Mitchell
    (British Lightweight)
    Liam Smith v Erik Ochieng
    (British & Comm Light Middleweight)
Tony Bellew v Issac Chilemba II
    (WBC Light Heavyweight Eliminator)

    Think this could be possible.

HBO are showing this fight. German TV, Danish TV. Sponsership etc. The card will make a profit even if it does a moderate buyrate. People seems to think they lnow more about promotion that the Hearns.

Eddie doesn't keep all of that PPV revenue. Sky keeps the bulk of it, as far as I understand it. That was why Haye made so much against Valuev, the rate he negotiated was a lot higher than normal.

Including you! I doubt Eddie will get any of the revenue from German and Danish TV.
