Shiming held the record for most watched boxer of all times anyway, no surprise there. He's superstar in a country of 1.4 billion.
I need more proof of these figures. 300m sounds like too many even if it's in a country of a population with 1.4bn. I find it hard to believe that approx 1/5 of China's population watched it...basically the majority of people in China who can afford a TV.
Well, Shiming is probably better p4p than Kameda...but that isn't saying much. One fraud is better than another fraud. :yep Maybe there is hope for Shiming to have a long pro reign, if they carefully manufacture it like KK's with plenty of handpicked challengers (& still requiring hometown robberies). :think
Yeah! They love confusing us gweilos with their dazzling numerical prestidigitation. "Yeah, it's called the abacus. You just slide these beads over here, and then some more over here...and voila, you're calculating. :nut pfft, look at these round-eyed Caucasoids, they're actually buying it!!"
Big numbers doesn't mean big money. English football clubs have huge followers in Asia but still get almost tenfold more money from their domestic viewing rights.
I'm sceptical about those numbers. Why is he so big? This place could turn into far east side boxing over night :scaredas:
I guess you can't complain that he gets 400k for his 4 round pro debut anymore even if the numbers are exaggerated that's damn impressive
