The fighter with the most available footage is in last place by a fair margin, if that's what the point of your thread was.

In terms of skill level I'd say:

    Robinson
    Jones
    Langford
    Greb
    Fitzsimmons

Hard rating Greb cos you have to go off write ups and film of those he beat.

    You overrate Roy´s h2h ability.

You underrate Roy Jones Jr as a fighter.

He's amazing on film, Vic. But there's no way in hell Jones Jr. is even slightly underrated when bundled in with those guys.

I can´t see Roy as better than those guys too.....but in your post you seem to say that there is a big difference like if it was a different class, I certainly disagree with that, IMO the differences between the ATGs are small any of them, they exist but they are small.

Well it depends on what exactly you're asking.

Legitimate pound-for-pound proficiency: Jones beating Ruiz was great but it's **** compared to Fitzsimmons weighing 167lbs and actually defeated the man at heavyweight, Langford beating ATG's from Lightweight to heavyweight and everything in between, Greb cleaning out 3 weight divisions, Robinson reigning over 2 weight classes and so on and so forth.

    Jones, not in their class.

Resumes and who these men actually beat: I won't even get into this one. Jones, not in their class.

H2H ability and skills: Jones is about 2nd or 3rd, fighting Langford for 2nd place.

Here, and only here, is Jones Jr. in the same "class."

When it comes down to it -- "greatness" depends on who you actually beat. That holds the most stock. And Jones just doesn't compare.
