He isnt gonna need rough house tactics to beat him either. Guerrero is going to hurt him over and over as Floyd tries to walk him down and close the gap. Guerrero doesnt get hit by right hands up top that often but he has taken some solid rights to the body. Floyd also took quite a few lefts from Ortiz and Cotto to the body. Guerrero will stick him with that jab to the body also. One thing is for sure is Floyd is gonna keep running into right hooks and left hands.

Floyd depends way too much on that lead right and many are underrating Guerreros defense, ability to throw his shots, side-step and get out of harms way. Guerrero has never been badly hurt or ever closed to being stopped. Technically and fundmentally, with his combinations and relaxed approach, Guerrero is a stylistic nightmare for Mayweather.

Speed and reflexes arent going to bail Floyd out this time because to win this fight, he'll have to go toe-to-toe and bang shot-for-shot with Robert. Im gonna call it a 7-5, 8-4 type of victory for The Ghost and possibly scoring a flash knockdown.

Here's some good technical breakdowns of Mayweathers approach vs southpaws and how Guerrero may respond

I don't see Floyd retiring unbeaten, but after much thought Guerrero won't do it, he just doesn't have the skills

Not going to happen. Guerrero doesn't have any advantage in this fight, its a tune up.

He does have the skills. Mayweather took a lot of clean shots by Ortiz and Cotto. Esp to the body. The only thing im worried about is Guerrero slowing down in the mid-rds, he tends to look winded or in a lull but always finishes strong the last few rds. Guerrero will get an early lead, Floyd edging back the mid rds with Guerrero coming on very strong winning the last 2-3 rds. Itll be a hell of a fight.

Floyd of course isn't in his prime however bare in mind his last fight was at 154 where he's always looked slightly slower and less agile. Now he's back at 147, he will be that much more sharper and that should be enough to win 9 rounds against Guerrero.

if Floyd looks anything like he did against Ortiz, Guerrero is going to get brutalized..

Genaro has a point though, Guerrero is going to have his moments and earn everyone's respect, I don't think he will be a walkover or get knocked out either.

very unlikely Guerrero wins. And most of his recent fights went 12 rounds. Floyd knows he can win this fight and win an easy decision and look good.

I wouldnt even pick the fighter im most passionate about in Miguel Cotto to beat Floyd. But in this matchup, there are the upset factors in play as the other underdogs i picked to win. Its not about topping those predictions but going with the facts.

-Imo, Floyd struggles(gets hit more often/makes more mistakes) with southpaws.
-Guerrero can hit hard with both hands equally/can fight different styles, is versatile, fundamentally skilled, talented and can make mid-fight adjustments
-Size, guerrero is slightly taller and reach is nearly identical
-Floyd has adopted more of an offensive flat-footed approach
-Guerrero is mentally and physically strong/solid chin, never been in serious trouble in the ring
-Floyd has been off for 1yr and possibly affected mentally(in his words) due to the jail stint
-Guerrero has been very active, grown into 147
-Floyd wants to 'dish it out' vs Guerrero and added pressure with the Showtime deal
-Guerrero is a man on a mission who believes God chooses his side over Mayweathers(even if true/not true is added motivation)

This is why i pick an upset. When there is that many variables, the risk is worth the reward.
