The Hype on Manny

I'm glad someone was able to put this fresh perspective into a new thread.

 

The only shame I saw was Floyd shaming the USA people. Everybody is urging Floyd to fight Pac but Floyd is pounding his chest...No,No,No. My health come first, if I get cripple or walk all bent over for the rest of my life I know y'all ain't going to pay for my bills . If I didn't know who Pacquiao was I would think Floyd was talking about a lion . All the US bothers: Floyd you shamed us and you're making us look very bad .

 

I've already said it's possible, but size?? He came out much bigger after jail too, where there is no way he could be using them. It's called working out. He has looked slow his last several fights and looked lackluster against Cotto. I would not be suprised if the Guerrero fight is closer than most people expect.

Floyd seems to fit what anyone schooled in boxing knows, as you get past your prime, you get slower. As you move up in weight, you get slower. As you add mass, you get slower and you tire more easily. Pac defies all of this. He's gotten faster, bigger, more powerful and more stamina across how many divisions?

Floyd's temperment is from his environment. That's all Floyd Sr doing. Like father, like son.

We don't cry when a sports figure loses. Nobody really gives a **** about Floyd, we take boxing for what it is---a sport and entertainment. And he's the best at it still. You voted an imbacile into congress! Enough said.

Truth is both Floyd AND Manny are very overrated, BUT still doesn't mean they are on the same level. Sure, there are others like Canelo who are overrated as well, but of course Floyd and Manny are proven and been around the block and been doing carefully matched fights for a long time now especially Floyd. It's unfortunate Oscar, Mosley, MAB, and Morales were all past their best days when they faced Floyd and Manny, but to be fair either there was a huge payday involved or at the time what was available, but there have been times when Floyd could of fought the best available competition and he didn't. Instead he goes with excuses of fighting the higher rated fighter or the one that sells more tickets. Sometimes the better fighter isn't exactly the higer rated one. Excuse after excuse after excuse.

 

Floyd is on an imaginery level . Hes proven hes better then everyone by not fighting them :yep

 

:huh Did you see his shape when he fought Floyd? he looked like someone who just packed pounds on to add weight. Now look at how he looked physically vs. Pac. Night and day. Vs. Floyd, he had some flab around the waist. Againast Pac, he was more cut then we've seen in a long while.

Are you under the impression JMM was his normal well conditioned self when he moved up to face Floyd? :huh

DLH was done when floydie beat him. Shane was shot too. Shane wasnt shot years earlier when he was calling floydie out, and Floyd dodged him by taking retirements and dragging up a lightweight.
