    That's what I've just mentioned.

The article is from 2011, when Arum gave various interviews saying he was sick of Floyd, he didn't believe he and Ellerbe were serious about a fight, and he was focusing on Marquez instead.

But since then, Arum and Floyd have met to discuss a potential fight.

The only person that's prevented the fight from happening, is Floyd.

No, no they did not. The Marquez IV fight was signed later last year. any talk of floyd was just to keep interest in manny up in order to promote the marquez bout

It was no surprise that Manny extended with Arum was it? He was always going to do that?

When Pac agreed to the 55-45, he obviously didn't envisage Marquez knocking him out and killing the fight.

Floyd's kept moving the goal posts throughout the last 4 years, and it wouldn't have mattered who Manny was with.

If Pac retired instead of fighting the elite in his division, or asked his rival take extra drug tests and price himself out of the fight how would he be viewed?

pac agreed to 55-45 when marquez 4 was already signed lad. pac only had the option of bradley or marquez rematches last year

Yes they did, have a look online. Both Roger and Floyd have said they met, and that things looked positive.

If Marquez hadn't have knocked Manny out, Manny would have pursued the fight with Floyd. But since his crushing defeat to Marquez, nobody's interested.

That is what all promoters do. Do you think they find one fighter and one only to try and make something work? Promoters toss names around all the time. And sometimes nothing more then to get a 'feeler' out to see what kind of reponse there is. Nothing new.

That's fine. Just tellling you how it is. Hoping you, like tliang, don't think just because you ask a question, you have a point.

Having several potential opponents lined up is nothing new. So...ignore that if you must. And probably will.
