YES to Solis. Good call. Forgot him. He's terrific at short range.

Yeah that helps, I just think that going against wlad and relying on your chin to see you through is suicide.

    It is absolutely.

To beat a great fighter, you have to put it together. I was just saying, missing that ingredient, you're gonna get pancaked. Hell, even HAVING that ingredient and you aren't safe. Calvin Brock, slick, well schooled, skilled fighter, good chin, really solid fighter. Pancaked.

    Eddie Chambers. Put to sleep.

It's rough to fight a puncher who can box. You need to bring a bunch of things, reach him, stop him from reaching you, employ a varied defense. Left hook over the jab would help.

People keep looking for the ingredient to end Klitschko dominance. There is no ingredient. Every guy you find gets his ass kicked. It's a recipe.

Kubrat Pulev is the future. I could see him dethroning Wlad in a few years.

    I really like Jennings too.

I was really high on solis a couple of year ago but he kept gaining in weight, declining in skills and then had his knee give way in an unsatisfactory ending. I was expecting him to do a job on vitali that night as well.

He has all the tools but none of the dedication it seems.

Vitali was too big a jump, as well.

Solis was feasting on regional talent, and all his higher level assignments were either aging or very inexperienced at the world level. Hopping right in there with Vitali? Steep, steep challenge.

Blowing out his knee was a bummer, and likely he'll never be the same, at his age. But, he was heavy.

I really have not seen any in a while, James Toney was one but older when he moved up but his inside game and body work stopped Evander and he had Rahman hurt badly in the DQ call but James was not really a puncher.

Bowe was a big man that could fight inside but he payed dearly getting hit too much

If a creation was too emerge that could fight on the inside and punch he would wreck havoc these days but he would have to be a special fighter to be dominant with his style as is the defensive/offensive Vlad with his Dr. like approach

What Pulev does have is very formitable and will be difficult for most HW's to overcome, he's exceptionally effective with his assets but he is a little limited certainly in comparison to Volodymyr.

Offense - Terrific jab, slaps with his left hook and loops his right hand. He almost never throws his right straight down the middle and i wish he would. He is capable of throwing combinations and fighting inside using short hooks and uppercuts but as a pro i'v almost never seen it, the Rossy fight being the rare exception.

Defense - Mainly uses his reflexes and footspeed to avoid shots which i suspect will work for him 95% of the time but against Volodymyr's size, jab, straight right and handspeed he'll eventually land on Kubrat's chin while he's trying to pull out of range and end his night, Ustinov and Walker both caught him that way.

Basically all im saying is he's no Oleksandr Usyk :D

I gotta be on HBO to be good? I'll talk to my agent immediately, nobody told me this rule.
