No I am sure most of it is water weight and food from dinner... but its just the way my body works I would check in at 160 when I get there in the morning and come out about 150-152ish....

  2. If Rigondeaux takes the fight to the floor, Nonito has no chance. :deal

If you drain your body down for a fight, you'll lose water, fat, glycogen and maybe a little muscle to trim down.
After the weighin, you can gain up to 20 pounds like Rios or Chavez just from drinking water and eating a lot of carbs which restore your glycogen stores and makes you retain more water.

If you ate a bunch of bagels today over your maintenance calories, you'd probably gain a couples pounds over night, but it's not all fat. That's mostly water weight you'll be gaining.

Basic common sense that your going to gain weight over night and I aint even soaking down here, though I have no real need to what for its not like I have to make weight.

But after a long work out in the gym when your finished cooling down you start to drink water and eat food that is going to add weight no matter how you slice it.

But the point I was making forget about me, I am talking about Donaire monday he had 7 pounds to lose, that is Not a problem at all... he isnt killing himself to come down here...
Now should some freak accident happen and Nonito scale in a little heavy needing to take off two or more pounds then I would worry about him draining himself out....
But this is a routine that has worked for him why change it its not broken no need to fix it.

i understand the concept under specials circumstances, like before a fight but happening in regular basis is what is hard to understand.

yup. cut out the water an calorie dense food. thats why at the weighins fighters look flat alot of the time. after a carb up n hydrating you put it on quick n look full. even just sitting around the house eat alot of cabs youll notice how full your muscle gets
