Jasper, you remain a mental midget incapable of mounting a logical argument, just trite maxims, so I’ll let you go with a "Vital retired Lewis". Maximus, you’re as unworthy of respect as Jasper, of the 9 defenses, two were against legitimate top 5 contenders, 3 against legitimate top 10, 3 against top 15, and one (Sosnowki) who was a step below, top 30 at time. Very similar record to other great HW’s, everyone has the occasional bum they fight, Sosnowki is still vastly better than Dave Zyglewicz, one of Joe Fraziers defenses, for example. Sandman, I’m new to this forum, I assume you are suggesting I’m someone else already on this forum, I’m not, but as you clearly are the most rational of your cadre, so I’ll deal mainly with you and your “list” piece by piece.

TKO6 is not a fact, it’s a vitriolic slogan aimed at discrediting an ATG. It is a fact that Lennox Lewis legitimately beat Vitali K in a match with a TKO6 result, with is not at all what this post and that incendiary slogan, is about.
In a court of law, there’s such a thing as reasonable doubt. “Vitali retired Lewis” is evidenced by so much cicumstancial evidence, there is no real reasonable doubt about it. Just as the cut was bad enough to leave a reasonable doctor to conclude it was necessary to stop the fight in VK v LL, it is evident that there was no reason for Lewis to go back on his plans other than assumption that he would face too great a chance of losing. As far as Rahman VK, your really grasping at straws there, you can do better. This is just another gimmicky, irrational way to try to discredit VK. VK had one injury after another, was getting a ton of criticism for postponing the fight because of all his injuries, and retired because of it. Not to mention he was largely expected to win that fight. Per reasonable doubt, no honest court in the world would “convict” VK of dodging that fight.

Most of your other lines, whose logical failing I haven’t already dealt with, I actually agree with you on, (such as you can think of 5 you think had better careers, a very reasonable statement that I wouldn’t disagree with)except you try to denude VK’s competition. Latest run title defenses mentioned above, as far as earlier, Kirk Johnson was a concensus top 5 heavyweight, Corrie Sanders was considered one of the 2 best heavyweights at the time. Either one would frankly have their way in most other era’s of boxing. Apart from that, before he was given a title shot, he beat top contenders and in a manner other greats failed to do, knocking out Donald (no one else could, Bowe, Holyfield who lost to Donald etc) Bean (Moorer and Holyfield both struggled with him, no one else knocked him out). Even Ross Purrity, not a top fighter, but a dangerous one, had his only TKO after his first fight at the hands of VK.

You dispute “established himself as a great heavyweight". Again, per comparisons and logical application, ie. reasonable doubt, there is none that he is an ATG.
You say Vitali has never been undisputed, like LL, and never been clearly #1. Well, that’s because his brother, who he obviously won’t fight, is around. Obviously special circumstance, and that is to the credit of boxing, making it all the more interesting, not the detriment.

Again, you can try to denude Vitali’s accomplishments, but it is irrational, not supported by facts (including rational application of logic, which, while better than your cohorts, you still need some practice with), but moreover, to do so really insults HW boxing and all its great champs in general. The faulty argument you use against VK can be used against other greats (i.e. Ali sucks because he had a horrible ko percentage, struggled with a lot of his opponents, and rarely beat anyone bigger than him, etc). Dominance over an era is dominance, and it should be respected.

Finally, Freedom 2013, great comments, I agree.

1 Yes it is a fact, and it makes the rest of your post redundant, but I'll bite.
2 This is not a court of law, and if you did try to take this fight to a court of law to dispute the decision, you'd lose.
3 Haye pulls out of one fight and he's scared, Vitali's pulls out of the same fight 4 times and he's injured.
4 His resume since his return is dog****
5 He's only an ATG if you want to stretch to top 30, and most people don't care past the top 10 in any single division.
6 Since when is boxing more interesting when top fighters don't meet each other? Or any other sport for that matter?
7 Only Klitards give a **** about KO percentages, rounds won, and pretty much every other meaningless statistic they can use to elevate their heroes. Absolutely no-one else cares, or has ever cared about crappy statistics.
8 How can two fighters dominate the same division at the same time?
9 Freedom2013 has already been exposed as one of the shittest posters on this site, and his MO is to create alts congratulating himself on his own posts. It's only a matter of time until you get around to promoting that absolutely God-awful HW blog he/you run.

lennox lewis fans also cannot address why there is any controversy to the fight. If it was so decisive why is there a thread and discussion about this today?

A little contradiction lewis fans get caught up in. The reason: Vitali beat him down and Lewis refused the rematch and retired. That's why it's being discussed today because it is the flukiest win in history but proved that Vitali was simply the better fighter and man.

Then why did Vitali duck Rahman?
Duck Haye and quit against Byrd?

    1. Vitali had injuries so that isn't ducking. To think he ducked Rahman who is no where near the class of Vitali is laughable and downright stupid.

    2. David Haye ducked Vitali by refusing to fight him.

    3. You realize injuries exist? In other sports players have injuries that leave them unable to play yet boxing fans believe that boxers somehow can't experience injuries.

What did Vitali ever do to be considered great?

He stopped 27 bums in 27 fights that Eric Esch could have KO'd.
Actually Louis Monaco who got KTFO by Eric Esch in 2 minutes went nearly 3 rounds against Vitali... still not long but Eric was 3 times faster with the KO.

    Quit against a SMW.

Beat up a few no hopers

    Got stopped by Lewis

    Beat Corrie Sanders

    Retired to avoid Rahman

Come back to beat up an already past it slow plodder Sam Peter.

    Beat who again?

    Faced Charr

    Why won't he face Haye?

He's a great titleholder, but no top 15 ATG hw material.

Vitali is an amazing reformist politician too. I would love to be ruled by such a successful man.

Now lets take a look at this compared to lewis:

    Lennox Lewis:
    Retired
    Refused the rematch
    Fired off HBO commentating team
    Unemployed

    Vitali Klitschko:
    HW Champion of the world
Offered Lewis a rematch after dominating him
His opposition party is the 3rd largest and is growing
    Party leader and future president
