Well in the same way you can't stop Tony Bellew coming across as a ***** or sore loser. There's only so much a promoter/manager can do for any fighter, some boxers get it and can play the game and some never will.

It was a big domestic fight but we're talking about big domestic shows, ones with depth and quality and there hasn't been any for a long time.

He must mean adding the commonwealth to his british title.

**** bid compared to what? The hugely inflated deal Frankie signed when he turned pro?

    OK.

Well i'm not on Franks side and i'm not on Hearns side...i'm just trying to add some balance to the debate.

The love-in for Hearns on the British forum is vomit inducing, sure he's done some good things but let's see if he's still around 5 years from now or is just a carpet bagger like his dad was when it came to boxing and got out when he started losing money.

Frank for all his faults has supported boxing through the good and bad times and also dipped his hand in his pockets many times to improve the safety and running of boxing whether it's saving the BBBofC or health and safety measures for the fighters.

Hearn and his daddy are just Carpet baggers so far untill they prove otherwise and are just in it to make a quick buck without putting into the grass roots of boxing like Frank has done many times over the years...if i'm proved wrong about this i'll be the first to hold my hands up but some of you need to open your eyes wider about him and the the Pro-Hearn anti-Frank brigade that has taken over this forum and other boxing forums too.

Matchrooms young fighers are getting plenty of fights,Cardle and Yafai in about 12 months would of caught up to Franke Gavin in the number of fights they would of had.At the moment to many of *****s fighter are being left on the shelf and thats not good for the grassroots and the youngsters coming through and one of the reasons Hearn is so popular with his fighters at the moment he gets them fights.***** has put on some great shows over the years but if you can`t keep your fighters active there is something seriouly wrong.

Judging by some of your posts today you sound quite anti Hearn, the one about his show on the 20th is meaningless was laughable, plenty of prospects on display and Rose stepping up in class plus Selby back in action.

Vassell via stoppage in the 10th/11th.

Gavin won't be able to live with his workrate or power.

Gavin hasn't done badly out of Allegedly being completely inept and making some ridiculously bad mistakes - the sort of mistakes that an experienced businessman shouldn't make.

Peter Ridsdale would shudder at some of the deals Allegedly signed in 2008-9.

    Good point.

He signed up Degale and Gavin on big signing on bonuses and fight purses based on their stellar amateur careers and when the economic climate was still healthy. Both really have "Failed to Launch" with their ring performances especially Gavin who needs to do less twittering and more entertaining in the ring rather then struggle and look poor with ex footballers and shot fighters.
