Oscar himself confirmed they were real.
He was high from cocaine and alcohol, and was in a depression that made him contemplate suicide.
Still a weird ass thing for him to do, but still, in the circumstances...I'm guessing cocaine + depression could make anyone act weird lol

    Exactly.

  4. Nah this is a fair point, there were a lot of rumours about Oscar being a nasty piece of work when it came to women, beatings and harrasment cases were falling apart when he was making lots of money, the guy is a devil in disguise.

BT: So how'd you first meet Oscar De La Hoya? What happened?

AM: Well, I met Oscar in 1998. I was actually working at a club called Fritz 2 in Anaheim, a Gentleman's Club. The reason I was there was because my husband was touring a lot. He was a drummer for Great White. I didn't feel like I was married. He had a lot of girlfriends and so I got bored. I started going to the club, hanging out, dancing and Oscar was coming into the club. I didn't know who he was. I do remember several times him asking me if I wanted to go karaoke. I had talked with him on several, several occassions and then, one night, my husband and I had a really bad falling out. I went in to work and Oscar was there and I said, "You want to go karaoke?" He goes, "Yeah!" So we went karaoke and I found out so much about this man. I just thought he was the most incredible person. I was already used to the autographs and stuff because that's what my husband dealt with. I just felt that he was very humble. What I did find very interesting was the fact that he had so much pain still from losing his mother. To me, that meant he was a sensitive guy and I thought that was a good thing. Wow. There was still that issue that I was married and I have to, for the record, say that I did not tell Oscar that I was married and when things kind of got more serious, someone else decided to do that for me, so I was not allowed to have that conversation with Oscar. People got involved when I found out I was pregnant. Oscar was like, "It's gonna be okay. You're gonna be fine." I remember we were kickboxing; we would like spar and play around and he was like, "Oh my gosh, he's going to be a killer." So we had these conversations that most people have. What I didn't know was that either Richard Schaefer or the attorney, someone had informed my husband that the phones were tapped. There were several conversations that Oscar and I had that were tape recorded. I'm thinking that it must have been told to Oscar that I was setting him up; that I was out to scam him or I was scam artist. That's not the case at all. Absolutely not. I got divorced after that. I was shunned from my Rockstar Wife's Club. Oscar got my OB/GYN; he was the same doctor that delivered Magic Johnson's children. Great doctor. He [Oscar] made sure of that, but I just couldn't talk to him. Everybody else kind of took over; the attorneys, etc. So I was told by Richard Schaefer, "Well, once you get divorced, you know, it's not going to hurt Oscar's image. It's going to hurt his image if you're married, but once you get divorced, Oscar will come around and he'll want to see his son." Well, I got divorced and then it was, "After Oscar gets done with this fight, because Oscar's training, then he'll want to see his son." I just didn't ever want Oscar to feel that I was out to hurt his image. The thing is, I didn't really see the big deal, the problem, until I was actually sitting on the bed and I'm breast feeding my son and I'm looking at the TV and there's Oscar with this other woman coming out of the hospital with a baby girl. I'm like, "Who's that?" And I found out that was Shanna [Moakler].

BT: So Oscar was basically having two kids at the same time?

AM: Three months apart. Three months apart. You know, the thing is it was a three-month relationship and it was almost as if one person was taken out of the picture and one person was placed right in front of him like, "She kind of looks like her. Here, you can have her instead." I know that kind of sounds...and then Shanna turns around and marries a drummer and I'm like, "Oh my God, this is crazy" (Laughing).

BT: They were definitely in the picture in the beginning? Oscar knew what was going on, Richard Schaefer knew what was going on and...

AM: (Cutting in) He knew what was going on. Actually, I remember talking to him and he was on the golf course. We were discussing how we were going to handle this and we both agreed for the sake of everyone that it would be best not to cause a fracas. I remember him saying, "I have to go. I've been promising my friend's uncle that I would play golf and I've been putting it off and putting it off and he's standing next to me. I gotta go." I was pregnant and Oscar wanted to talk more about the situation, but he couldn't get five minutes alone and felt very pressured to play some golf game with his supposed friend's uncle. Well, that uncle actually turned out to be Richard Schaefer. It was the beginning of Richards place. Whenever you read about how Oscar went to Richard, that is not how it went down. Maybe Oscar did start asking about how to secure his finances since he did have one new baby, Jacob, and two women pregnant at
the same time, but he did not set up that meeting. Richard wanted to meet Oscar and then Richard did what he does best...sold himself straight to the top. He owns that place. Make no mistake, Richard makes all the rules. Everyone answers to Richard, including Oscar. So then I started trying to get a hold of Richard because I thought that was the only way I was going to get to Oscar. I wanted my son to get to know his father. I could have easily sold the stupid story. I could have easily made money. It's not about the money. It just seems like everyone wants to make it about the money, but for me, it's what happened to the man that I met? What happened to the man that I once knew? What happend to him? Where is he? I'm very close with the De La Hoya family. His uncle Vincent, his aunt Isabella, his cousin Monica and Ginny, they adore Devon. Even Oscar's own father; Devon's been over to his grandpa's house and they're not getting it. They're trying to figure out what's going on.

BT: So this isn't a case where you just come up out of the blue and are claiming that this is Oscar De La Hoya's son?

AM: No, no, no, no, no!

BT: Everybody knew from the get-go? Did they require you to do a DNA test just to make sure?

AM: Of course! Of course! I got the DNA and it was 99.96%, you know?

BT: Like Maury Povich, "You ARE the father!" (Laughing).

AM: (Laughing) No, no. This is the mistake I made, and I did a video about this on YouTube, but I kept it out of the court system, which actually was the very wrong thing to do. I thought I was doing the right thing because, like I said, my whole goal was to prevent my son from being raised without a father. It wasn't about the money. I don't care if he lives in a cardboard box. People may not believe that, but I come from a very strong family-oriented background and fathers...you can not replace a father. You can't put a price tag on it. There's no money that he can give that will give Devon what he needs. You can never replace a father. I just remember wanting to get along with these people the best way I knew how for the long-term benefit of my son and his relationship with his dad. That was the wrong thing to do. I should have went to court, I should have had the judge order the DNA, it should have been done the way it's supposed to be done, the way in which everyone has the right to do. Don't ever do anything under the table. Don't ever do anything private because you'll end up screwing yourself in the long run.

BT: How was it done? Did they bring in some private doctors or private testers?

AM: Well, what happened was my attorney promised to keep everything confidential. As I said, I was married so he was not only dealing with the DNA issue with Oscar, but he was also supposed to be getting my divorce finalized. So this attorney went to Long Beach Genetics and was sitting there as a witness to make sure Oscar was the one getting the DNA test done. He told me the conversation, he said, "You're never going to believe this, but I'm sitting there and I'm hearing Richard Schaefer tell Oscar to fire everyone at Golden Boy; clean house now! And Oscar is getting on the phone and he's doing it." I'm like, "Just watch! Make sure the blood comes from Oscar. I don't care what's going on." He thought he was seeing something historical. I'm like, "Just get the DNA!" So the DNA came back positive of course and...

BT: (Cutting in) This was 1999?

AM: In March of 1999. Yeah. I don't understand. I'm not...I don't know. It just feels like if I would've went on TV screaming and crying and making a big deal about it, I would've gotten further for my son. I don't know what's going on. I don't even know if Oscar knows what's going on. I'm thinking...and this may be far-fetched, but I'm thinking that Oscar really didn't understand that I got divorced and may have thought that I was raising his child as my husband's child. I don't know because the child support is paid, but it's paid from, and I might get in trouble for saying this, but it's paid from a trust fund that was set up by Richard and it's under the name John Doe and that is ridiculous to me.

    BT: Really?

AM: A dead person's name? John Doe? I mean, that's where this money comes from. It's set up in this account that generates a certain amount of interest every month and that's what I get for child support so Oscar doesn't necessarily right a check.

BT: But that's not court ordered, right?

AM: Well, it isn't in a court order that says it has to come from a trust fund under the name John Doe. It just has to be a certain amount every month, which is completely confidential.

BT: So it's definitely court ordered child support, but you went through private lawyers and everything to get that done?

AM: Well, then when my divorce wasn't getting finalized as soon as I believed it should have been, I caught on to what was going on. The laws in California, they say that if you are married for two years and you have a child, then the father automatically becomes the person that you are actually married to.

That's the reason why some Americans marry Filipino women. Filipinas are true lovers.

women are bitches, its in their nature to search for rich alpha-males, they dont give a **** about personality or emotions and are actually much more rational and materialistic in life than most mens...
