As others said, I think he could make 140 if he drained himself right before like several others that seemingly do so easily. But since he's apparently not very used to doing that, it might really hinder him in the fight... 147 is obviously perfect, unlike others who are naturally 15lbs+ heavier...

If someone asked me how much he weighted against Mosley just by looking at him I would say 155 at least. He has put a lot of muscle on the weight and it is amazing that he is so light.

    They're both small-ish welters...

Floyd has really grown into the weight, though. He's no longer an overblown lightweight (or Jr. welter)...same can't be said for Robert (though he's been pretty good at welter thus far)

That's a pretty extreme example. I can see some fighters doing that but most of them? Definitely not.

His dad is in the gym all the time training fighters.

I bet there are no other WW's out there who come less than 1% of their fight weight 30 days before the fight (not including guys going up for a one-off payday). Literally none.

I believe this and his in-ring weight proves that you're wrong by any measurable number.

What does that mean though really? Surely if Floyd is 10lbs lighter than the (also very well-conditioned) competition he hasn't really grown into WW at all. He's comfortable fighting there, but he's fighting there as a LW/LWW sized guy.

This is clear evidence that Floyd is a natural junior middle and has been blatantly ducking S. Alvarez, V. Martirosyan, and S. Martinez.

this, froch weighs 175 at the start of full camp, doesnt show he isnt a super middle wieght, he is maybe even a future LHW.

    Get the excuses in.

Why did he sign for it then?

It was thoroughly unprofessional. Im not going to go overboard like the *******s inevitably will, but it was unprofessional.

In an interview a while back, Floyd Sr said lil Floyd could fight at 140 easily.

I don't know about this. Floyd probably walks around at 150.

  15. He already said himself and i quote "I don'care what people think about me. not even my fans. I dont fight for the fans, I fight for Floyd mayweather. it's called self preservation" AKA I dont give a**** about anything, **** my fans and **** the sport, I do as I please. Yet his tiny minions tolerate the abuse and worship him.
