BillyJoe Saunders vs John Ryder

This would be the test for Hearn he has said if he lost a purse bid or had a huge amount of money offerd for his fighter he would allow that fighter to fight on another channel.If Hearn lost the purse bids and didn`t allow Ryder to fight on Boxnation he would lose allot of support on here but I think he would be a man of his word and it`s not ike Ryder is a headline act on Sky yet.

Unless Eddie makes a huge offer I can't see him wining the purse bid. Eddie doesn't have the budget that Frank has. Frank can put this fight as a headline fight with a cheap under card.

I hope this fight happens it would be a great advert for us at domestic level
2 young unbeatens who I hope win or lose will move on to the world stage
This is a fight that has similarities to groves degale with 2 young brits willing to risk it,let's hope out of the ropes issues don't get in the way
For me I agree it's maybe too early for Ryder but he is so strong he can make it competitive with Billy joes handspeed and variety catching the judges eye

 

Easy to big big then never afford to actually pay the purse! Only matter of time before someone goes public! Fighters are not getting paid according to the board rules!

Osullivan v billy joe happening next world title eliminator so why does Bjs need Ryder!

 

IMO, John Ryder will win, he will, by far be the best fighter that BJS has fought so far, Billy Joe usually hand picks voluntary defences against light middles. Watch he's fights with , Boulden, Blackwell and hall as well, BJS likes to take a break during rounds, dropping he's hands and walking around the ring. Ryder wont let him do that, he's a pressure fighter, and will wear BJS down in the latter rounds. Its bull**** when people say that Ryder aint ready for 12 rounds or this fight is too soon, he is ready and he will WIN!

 

I have a feeling Eddie will win the bid, and Frank will pull BJS out before the fight can take place.

 

Rob, BJS has stated many times he wants to win the belt outright. So he will take the fight. He will be waiting a long time to win the Lonsdale belt outright though, as he wont win the fight

Eddie wins PBs - Frank could pull Billy out and (rightly) use the 'he has an eliminator' excuse OR Frank lets it happen (precedent with Chisora-Fury & gets more exposure for his next top fighter)
Frank wins PBs - Eddie doesn't allow Ryder on Sky Sports OR he thinks that the fight is worth the risk as he has a chance and it wouldn't be the end of the world if he loses.

As for the fight, I fancy BJS in a clear decision. Despite his age he has more experience, operated at a higher level and is better than his last performance suggested.

 

I don't see how he is better then his last fight suggested because the fight before last against Blackwell he looked worse.
