Think about it before the announcement of HBO and GBP splitting we had about three cards canceled due to "Injuries".
Now all the sudden all of those fights have been rescheduled to later dates on Showtime.
Did HBO catch on to Oscars move before they had a chance to announce their move? I think that GBP was planning this move working with showtime in the background once they finalized the deal I believe thats when we started to hear about all these injuries that called off some pretty decent bouts.

Oscar is ****ing stupid for putting himself in this position, he has limited himself to one network at this stage and that cant be good....

Interesting. Not sure if the injury delays were a coincidence or planned as you suggest but I wouldn't be surprised either way.

HBO cut GBP off and not the other way around. Schaefer was still planning on keeping Broner, Thurman and a few others on HBO before they pulled the plug.

HBO and Top Rank have more viewers than Showtime and has the better fights. HBO still has Donaire, Pacquiao, Bradley, Rios, Marquez and now have Shiming who Arum can use to tap into the big Asian cash market.

It's actually pretty pathetic, you got the Donaire-Rigo fight, than the Martinez card than they don't have **** till May 28th. I don't know how you can hate a network, you are very biased.

add the Guys with Thompson Boxing, DiBella, Don King, Goosen Tudor, Main Events, heavyweight factory, and Gary Shaw.

Trust me there are plenty of guys,

I think this is a blessing in disguise because now HBO has the chance to showcase other talents, besides the existing stable.

Nah..Showtime is dedicating more resources to boxing nowadays and Ross Greenburg is going to do great things at that network.

As far as Oscar goes, he's just the mascot. Richard Schaefer is the brains.

Fact is show time has arguably the 3 biggest names in the sport, mayweather, Canelo and Broner. If we take out floyd and u take out PAC. Broner and Canelo will be the ppv attractions and the cash cows.

True. :deal A network limiting themselves to one promotional entity has historically been bad for the network.
