Chad Dawson doesn't want to be called "Bad" anymore

Wait a minute, wait a minute...a man has the right to be called whatever he wants and if the man wants to be called....+

Chad Dawson along with Andre Dirrell are probably two of the most mentally weak fighters I've seen in a long time.

 

That's a shame. It's never been more unintentionally accurate.

Dawson always has something going on around him. He loses focus in the ring at times almost like he doesn't want to be there and doesn't believe in himself. Takes too many longs breaks in the ring. Always switching trainers is another one. If Dawson had more fire he would be damn near unstopable at 175, he's long a beautiful combination puncher nice jab movement good defense and hand speed. As for Andre Dirrell no explanation needed.

 

You gotta give Dawson props for consistently fighting top level comp. when is the last time the guy took on a soft touch? I'd like to see him fight the Bute/Pascal winner if he can beat Stevenson.

John Scully wrote a superb piece in today's boxing news about why top boxers and trainers don't come onto forums because of the abuse they get.
I advise everyone to read it and take his words on board.

But I'll have to be a hypocrite and stick by my first sentence.
It was poor form of the lowest order the way he betrayed then insulted Scully.

John Scully is just as much of an annoying ****. His articles in Boxing News turn my stomach. Talks a load of absolute ****. Not a fan of Chad either though.

 

It's all about opinions I suppose.
I like the fact that he's probably the most fan-friendly guy at that level.
Happy to communicate and give opinions more than anyone I know of(although there may be more)

But that's only my opinion.
