I dislike Schaeffer/Oscar and feel i can see through their bul****.

However this all makes sence to me.

And makes a mockery of all the posters going overboard complaing over the last couple of days about this being 141.

Of course the fighters will want to unify the belts if they could. They'll only be taking this fight cos they think they can win.

And it sounds like they are going to try to make it happen still. And i wouldn't be suprised if they do, now that the greedy sanctioning bodies realise they aren't getting there Cut.

Golden Boy and Lucas's camps are at fault.
First it makes no sense to have the fight and nothing is on the line for each fighter, **** might as well be a ****ing exhibition.

Second, as I mentioned before and someone else alluded to, an interim belt isn't a real champ, he is simply the #1 contender and he is getting a shot at a real belt for a champ in the division who has the best resume. You don't fight him because you want to fight Garcia, a guy who only has beaten shot fighters and Khan, who Peterson had already beaten? It is a joke.

 

It makes sense, really.

 

Ah, i see now. I suppose I see Lucas' point. Fighting Garcia for the WBC and WBA and Ring title is better than the IBF by itself, but I can't see how winning a strap against a relatively known champion when you have the chance isn't worth clinging to that mandatory.

Maidana would have given up the interim title fought Peterson at a real weight than fought Danny cause he's real warrior. Matthysse fans only give him this pass cause they think he is white.
