Stop harping on about that it was Peter that gave me the chance,I done the job for 10 years,if I wasn't any good and if you know Peter I simply wouldn't have been there mate. Loyalty you say I had nearly ever sparring partner Scott has ever had staying in my house at my cost, I transported them to and from the gym feed them, made there dinner at my cost never once given a penny(now that all adds up) I spent weeks on end in Fort William training Scott all at my expense, especially the medina return Scott was in great nick following weeks in Fort William and I hardly got paid enough to cover my expenses after the fight. So mate I don't owe anybody nothing! And do remember it was Peter that broke our relationship going for another job, were was his loyalty to the boxers we trained or are you just not want to reply to that?
Billy iam not taking anything away from what you done and obviously Peter saw something in you or you wouldn't have been there but I just think that a guy in your position should know better than to say some of the things you have said On this forum. Your right in what you say in Scott not being ready for Ricky just now but I think he will be after a couple of fights and it would be the biggest night ever for Scottish boxing. I have never said once who I thinks would win the fight as we haven't yet seen Scott in meaningful fight yet but this will be be a good indicater of what he has left and if it's a fight worthwhile making. As for Peter leaving, he obviously had his reasons and I don't know enough about the circumstances to comment.
Peter gave me a great chance and I grasped it with both hands, now I'm on my own and I've trained a two weight two time world champion and your saying I'm lucky no mate luck has nothing to do with it.
I never said you where lucky, Ricky's the most improved fighter in Britain you've got to take some of the credit for it all I am saying is you should have a bit more respect when you comment on Peter an Scott as you were once on their team. I like Ricky and I hope he ends up in the big fights he should be in.
But he wouldn't know if the coach never taught it!atschatsch Anyway who has Scott been sparring for the fight?
Billy it sounds like a bit of a Door mat i get helping out and not getting paid as to learn the trade as it were, but to fund things out your own pocket when Scott was earning decent money is bang out of order if you ask me and then do be dropped when Peter became the Scotland amateur coach, Honestly sounds the you where treated pretty badly are you still on talking terms with Peter and Scott
