Bowe has the size advantage, can fight on the inside and has a great chin.

It is hilarios how the same people who say Frazier is too small to compete with Bowe will turn around and say Marciano could beat Bowe.

work rate and speed are two different things. both Leonard and Norris had speed but Norris had the much superior work rate; thus leonard could not keep up

I honestly believe Bowe with all his superior physical advantages, would chop up Frazier and take him apart around rd 8. the differences in size is unconsionable

I think this thread is showing just how overrated Riddick Bowe really is...Too many people saying Bowe just destroys Frazier, and I believe theres no chance in hell of that happening..Like someone else mentioned earlier, Bowe isnt Foreman!!

Ali was between 212 and 215lbs.
Bowe in shape was over 20lbs. heavier and a couple inches taller than Ali. More importantly he hit much harder and had infighting skills that Ali never possessed.

Not really. It depends how you look at it. Frazier is the greater fighter. He would be on most peoples top 10 heavys of alltime I believe. Bowe wouldnt make the list.

Usually though these mythical matchups are each fighter at their best. Bowe had a criminally short prime. No question. He was a food addict.

IMV the people picking Bowe are taking the nostaligia out of it and looking at the tools each man brings and it doesn't stack up well for Joe Frazier realistically.

On the other hand there are some heavys that Frazier could beat that Bowe couldn't like Ali.

Why would be talking about Middleweigts in a fight regarding Heavyweights? Frazier has a clear speed advantage both in head movement (non-existent on Bowe anyway) and hand speed. Watch the footage I posted of Frazier, he was making Chuvalo miss left, right and centre and landing on will. Did more damage than Foreman could.

    He destroyed Chuvalo within 4.

Came closer than anyone to stopping Ali.

Beat the much more skilled Jimmy Ellis.

None like Bowe but then again Bowe never stopped anyone like Frazier. Frazier stopping Chuvalo is much closer than Bowe stopping Cooper.

And since when did Bowe become this enormous power puncher being compared to Foreman all of a sudden?

I see the outcome similar to Foreman Frazier 2. The intensity of the Foreman attack had lessened by 1976, thereby allowing Frazier to have more of a fighting chance. Still, Foreman, as big a heavy as Bowe, proved too big for little Frazier.

In similar fashion, big daddy jabs, hooks, N upercuts his way en route to a Joe Frazier submission

Chuvalo was kind of destroyed by a "strange punch" that happens once in a while.
Frazier opened a cut under Chuvalo's right eye and had the eye swollen shut by the end of the third round.
Frazier fractured Chuvalo's orbital bone under his right eye so badly that Chuvalo needed reconstructive surgery.

Chuvalo was also rather slow and not very defensive.

Frazier would haver won anyway even without a strange once in a 1000 shot that fractures a bone, Chuvalo was too slow and not good enough despite his size.

Chuvalo wasn't even that good, tough. But not good.

Bowe stopped Holyfield, that's a bigger accomplishment than stopping Frazier.

Fraza has his moments inside of course since Bowe welcomed an infight more often than most big heavyweights. But Bowe I think is too big and strong and would stop him around 9 or 10.
