Is Shogun the best LHW in mma history ?

I made thoughtful, respectful, civil posts commenting on the rise of Jon Jones and then laying out my own LHW all-time rankings, even explaining that I didn't consider my own knowledge extensive enough to take any ironclad stances.

What the **** is wrong with that? Look at the comments I made when I bumped the thread. What is there to ***** about and immediately derail the thread for? :-(

I was the bigger man. I gave you a very reasonable, very polite response saying that I'm a fan of Shogun, I'm just not a fan of his nuthuggers. I explained that I don't have a full judgement of Wandy or Shogun because I don't feel my knowledge of their wins in context is quite there yet. But I was polite, explained myself, and was clearly looking for a respectful discussion about MMA.

The bottom line about all this I won't comment on the thread subject because I honestly think I lack knowledge in the 205 division.

I think it has been one of the most stack and competitive division for years and it's hard to establish rating, at least for me.

I agree that it may be too soon for JJ to be in talk for the best ever, not because he doesn't deserve it but it's really only a matter of time. I think on paper he is almost there. But it's just too soon for me !

Next time just keep in mind that you have some kind of behavior and that it will follow you here anywhere you go, maybe you were honest about your question, maybe you weren't, bottom line is that me and Stoo will never be sure of it, try to keep that in mind next time...or maybe not.....but I think you get the picture, at least I hope so....maybe you think it wasn't warranted. but from our point of view it was justified !
