Guerrero will fight off the back foot. Watch his fight vs Klassen. Thats how he will fight Floyd, except he may be a bit more rough and use his elbows/physixal strwngth to move Floyd at times. But he will box, let Floyd come to him and side-step around Floyd.

Did you catch the part of the interview where Sr says Floyd has been moving more?

Floyd "says" he doesn't, but Roger and his dad watch tape and come up with a gameplan

His father mentioned movement. It makes you curious about who will be the one to come forward if they both want to be on the back foot

It won't work. Ortiz tried something similar (I know Guerrero is better than Ortiz) and he was getting countered all night coming in. I think it will work for a couple of rounds then Floyd will adjust. It's not like Floyd has never walked a fighter down before.

I remember this. Ortiz would back up and bounce around. Floyd honed in with his laser rights. Ortiz realizes oh **** I'm ineffective backwards and getting hit, so he would revert to coming forward

Yeah i get the sense that he hasnt looked very impressive compared to previous camps. And i dunno about you, but he was looking pretty tired doing those sit-ups. Im not hearing from anyone how great and sharp hes looking either

I'm sure he hasn't watched any tape, just like Floyd never saw a Cotto fight, even though he could perfectly emulate how Cotto jabbed, held his guard, and threw his hooks on the heavy bag.

Ortiz dont know how to fight off the backfoot and he doesnt know how to avoid the right hand. Guerrero doesnt back straight up, or bounce around for no reason. He ducks the right hand very well and always side-steps, circling to his right. His movement and defense is very underrated.

    Aren't they usually?

I always got the impression Roger watched the tapes, then made the tweaks during training. I think Floyd right now is focusing on pure fitness and the basics of his punching mechanics, if Floyd Sr. or Roger or whoever start watching tape now, they can start crafting the finishing touches on a game-plan for Floyd to work with. Or not necessarily a game-plan but a focus on certain moves and punches.
