Rigo is too advanced and will make Donaire look confused.

    Agreed.

This is a DREAM FIGHT...if any fan dosen't get pumped for this fight they're probably dead inside.

The skill level that will be on offer tonight between Rigo and Donaire is off the hook. We needs to savour this fight and hopefully it'll be the classic it deserves to be.

Rigo's knockdowns on Terrazas showed that while he can knock people down with shots to the chin, his real killer shot is the bodyshot.

I don't see Donaire being easy to hit with a bodyshot but then again, he hasn't faced a Rigo before. Donaire has shown power with either hand but he has to set up Rigo for the shot which will be very difficult.

Very interesting fight. With a gun to my head, I'd have to pick Donaire by SD, just because TR has plans for Donaire to face Juanma and other lucrative bouts.

if Rigo can take Donaires power then he wins a UD or TKO.

I love Rigo's back story, defecting from Cuba and all to pursue his dream. Ever since the fight was announced I tried to figure ways that Rigondeaux could win, but I just can't. Predicting a Rigo win is not based on logic, but rather support for the under dog(countryman). He hasn't the experience, the chin, and his class hasn't been proven at the professional level.

Even still, I'm rooting for Rigo, knowing that a "prediction" in his favor would be nothing more than heart over head. Donaire by UD, as I think the Cuban will be too cagey for Nonito to land anything big enough to get the KO. Rigo's win will be lasting the distance with one of the best of this generation.

Gotta go with Nonito. He's a proven commodity vs. top level competition. Last time I thought he'd be challenged a little bit, he flattened Montiel

Unless they're donning head gear and fighting under amateur rules, I've got Donaire.

Regardless of the outcome, this is the type of matchup the sport needs.

That is everything actually, for me. Donaire has been under the big lights. I just don't see how Rigo can win...but I am still rooting for Rigondeaux! :happy

There are no "bigger lights" than the olympics, which are "routine" for Rigo.

Expecting fear, nervousness, and such bs from Rigo here is a mistake.
