Of course not. If you get up and you look like you can't defend yourself, as Zab looked, the ref is actually supposed to call it.

I think if they'd called the fight against Bradley, it'd have been justified and there wouldn't have been all that much complaint here.

Yeah, some would say that the fact he was allowed to continue and win the fact proved that the ref was right, but I don't like the look I've seen on Tim's face from the 2nd round until the end of the fight. I fear his career may have been shortened in a single fight. I'd have stop the fight in the second round I think... and yeah it was a great fight.

What in the world are people basing their opinion on for this to be an early stoppage?

    Zabs steadiness on his legs?
Him ordering fries from the ref between going down the first and second time?
His calm and reasonable state of mind after the fight was stopped?

Come on. He got KD. Got up.
    Said Christ knows what.
    Did the chicken dance.
    Went down again.
Got up and fell into the ref.

And a ref is supposed to think "yep. Looks fine to me. I'll let him continue being punched in the head."

If the ref calls the first round knockdown correctly, would he have been obligated to stop the fight since Tim stumbled and fell again as he got up?

Zab always make a lot of excuses for his losses and that always rubbbed me the wrong way . But this one i happen to agree with him .

That was a premature stoppage and it should have not been stopped that quickly .

Thing about Bradley's one is when he fell back down it wasn't ruled a knockdown
I think if it was the ref woulda stopped it

Yes but Nady did the right thing. Judah was too hyper and should have gotten his wits about him before jumping up like that.

You never know what you'll get with Nady. A bit prior to that he let Vargas take a beating vs. Trinidad, then he stops the Tszyu-Judah fight first chance he gets. He wasn't wrong in either instance, but some consistency would be nice

Do you call two knockdowns then?? After all Zab got knocked down, got up, and fell down again. 10-7 round?

If Zab had a problem with it he should off called for a rematch to put things right

Boxer's should be taught to always stay on a knee until about 8
Like Salido a veteran in the game got knocked down by Juanma he wasnt that hurt but he stayed on his knee til about 8, forget pride it's about being smart because getting up too early can mess you up

    :rofl

When 1 punch = 2 knockdowns I would've stopped the fight too if I was the ref.

Zab should be thanking Nady, since he was able to continue his career and make a lot of money along the way. If Nady had allowed him to continue, there's a fair chance he would've been permanently damaged.

True. If Judah had waited there's a chance he would've cleared the cobwebs....................but he didn't.
