It's the kind of fight I want to watch on TV, to really see who's landing. I just went to BHop-Cloud, I'm going to wait because there are other fights at Barclay's this year and more getting signed all the time. Plus the undercard is meh.

i know that the favorite is Donaire (and the obvious pick) but i've got a feeling that Rigo is going to do it.

so, Rigo on points. if Donaire pushes too much, and looks to be really impressive, he may end up getting caught and taken out. so a late stoppage isn't out of the question for me.

either way, it's going to be good. a fight that just had to happen. and it's here. tonight.

I think THIS is the biggest stage he's been on, considering this fight is so much more meaningful than any amateur fight. The biggest name opponent that he's ever faced, and what this fight would mean to his career. This opportunity is why he defected, right?

How he handles fights of this caliber has yet to be proven on this stage. Rico Ramos is hardly a Montiel, Darchinyan, Nishioka, etc.

Hopefully there are no nerves, and his chin holds up, but I am expecting a Donaire win. Still rooting the homie, tho.

Please... They wear head gear bro, it's like comparing baseball to softball. When has an Olympic fighter that didn't go pro been as big as Ali or Tyson?

That said i think that donaire is gonna hurt rigo and stop him... Unless Rigo can run all night and pot shot his way to a boring UD.

So, you really think that "nerves" will be a factor with Rigo?

Donaire is going to send Rigondeaux back to Guantánamo Bay where he belongs!

Pulling for Rigo, but expect that Donaire will prove to be too big(but with commensurate skill) for Rigo to overcome.

Don't think that "the moment" will faze Rigo in any way though. I think Rigo fully expects that he will win.

Poll odds seem fairly good. Donaire can win in more ways I believe, but Rigo has just about as good if not a better choice at outpointed Donaire. He's just a lot more vulnerable, and that gives Donaire enough of an edge if it becomes a concern for Rigo at any point. It's a tough one to call. I slightly lean towards Rigo decision, as the most likely outcome. That's not to say he's the more likely winner.

I believe Rigo has the talent to outbox Donaire, so a points win for him wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. However I feel he'll likely be caught late on and stopped.

Nothing against Donaire, besides him being a whining emo, but Rigo just seems like a much more real dude so I'd love to see him do it.
