Like Southpaw said Bonevena would have hit in the same ballpark as Bowe and Ali with his combination of speed, accuracy, unorthodox shots and ability to drain fighters makes it that he could hurt damn near any heavy in history. KO'd Liston, Foreman, Bonevena etc.

Bowe's size coupled with an excellent jab, would be a bad match-up for Joe, whose determintaion would give him some success but i see a stoppage on cuts, after a knockdown or two, around the midway point.

By all accounts, but he didn't ever put together in the ring aside from two close fights with Byrd and Ruiz.

He annihilated the "beast" Bowe quite handily...

Have you seen either fight? He quit both times. That's the opposite of annhilation, it's capitulation.

Bowe beats Golota 10 out of 10 cos all he has to do is stay standing and fire back and the pole will call it a day.

I've seen both fights a number of times one of the best brawls at Heavy ever. He didn't quit he hit him low. I don't envision any fighter willing to quit while being so far ahead and having enough heart to get up off the canvas and then proceed to beat the **** out of the opponent. I think Golota had some serious mental issues more than a ticker problem much like McCall.

PS. Say whatever you will to this post but you know and anyone who has seen the fight knows Golota was getting much the better of Bowe and was ahead in both fights at the time of the DQ.

When did I dspute Golota was getting the better of it?

Going low so blatantly is effectively a quit job.

Like I said, they could fight ten times and bowe emerges victorious all ten. Tremendous show of heart and courage by bowe in that series.

Have you heard Bowe his speech after the fight?
The fight could have been stopped before Golota DQd himself, the winner of those fights depends on how long the ref would watch Bowe take damage.
So with the "right" ref, Golota would win 10 out of 10 times.

With the right ref history would be a lot different.

Would be a great fight to watch. I am leaning slightly towards the Bowe who beat Holyfield against the Frazier that beat Ali.

Many will mention Bowe's size and jab but he fought like a much smaller man and his jab was over rated. If Ali's jab couldn't keep Frazier off him, Bowe's inferior jab would be slipped with ease and Bowe would allow Frazier inside throughout the fight.

This would be fought at close quarters and Frazier would find Bowe a very easy target, Frazier was actually the more elusive fighter. Bowe would get hit and get hit a lot in this fight.

But while Frazier would have plenty of success he doesn't have the style to beat Bowe. Holyfield couldn't out slug it with Bowe and while I think Frazier would do better than Holyfield it wouldn't be enough to beat him.

Bowe struggled against guys with movement and a good jab, not exactly Frazier's style. Frazier with his bobbing style would have no problem getting inside on Bowe who would welcome him in but Bowe's uppercut once inside would be the key punch here.

Bowe wins a close decision in a thrilling fight. Though Bowe stopping Frazier isn't out of the question.
