Nader is popping light jabs into the guard and stepping left. Santos throws a hard 1-2-3-4 and everything is blocked. Lead rights by Santos catch Nader pulling back. Left hook to the body by Santos.

Round 10

Nader is bobbing his face to either side, avoiding jabs and driving his right hand up into Santos'. Nader is quicker on the draw and is actually pressing forward now, imposing himself on the bigger man. Santos is biding his time and looking for a big shot. Nader keeps hopping sidelong. Santos loads up on a typical combination from body to head and back: jab, cross, hook, uppercut. Nader manages to absorb the partial connects on his arms. Nader keeps flashing his fists out while circling. Jab on the nose and big whipping right on the brow from Nader while tracking left as Santos twirls on the all of his lead foot to face up to him.

Round 11

Nader flurries down low and moves back and to the left. Long jabs by Nader while circling away. Nader is having trouble keeping his arms up when not punching, but is forced to by a sustained aggressive body-and-lower-chin-targeting uppercut assault by Santos on the front-foot. Nader spins him to the ropes and tees off with straights to the face.

Round 12

Nader is jabbing and outracing Santos with clockwise trotting steps, crossing leg over leg. Nader manages to avoid the big shots until the last minute, when Santos catches him with a head-snapping right hand and then cuts off his escape with a heavy left hook. More big shots by Santos, staying close.

Nader is POOPED. He tries climbing the turnbuckle and stumbles on the way up.

 

Nader sits in the corner, chugging water held by a team member while another whips a towel into a spin to fan him.
