Some good points there. Wouldn't be surprised if there were a few knockdowns on each side, i don't think Donaire has ever faced someone who hit's as accurately and boxes as intelligently as Rigo does and could be made to pay for his rather nonchalent attititude at times.

:good I agree this is a dangerous fight for Nonito. It's dangerous for both men. Nonito is rightly the favorite but there's been times when he's tired after a stunning start. Vice versa so Rigondeaux needs to get into the fight early.

Get Donaire missing and counter hard. I think the longer the fight stays a chess match the more Rigo plays cute and the more Donaire plays big.

Donaire likes to roll the dice, Commendable attitude but in a tight battle can lose you a fight.

    Agree.

It'll be interesting to see if Rigo can hurt Donaire and gain his respect, otherwise Donaire could start loading up and throwing haymakers...this could end up a bit like the Navaez fight but with a much more skilled opponent who has the power, speed and timing to counter and hurt Nonito.

I really can't wait for this fight, the skill level on offer is off the hook.

I think his speed and timing will be sharp enough to trouble Donaire and gain his respect. Might even get him thinking about his attacks. I think Donaire can ruffle the feathers of the prized peacock. Think if the pressure's kept on and fight is at a pace and keeps Rigo backing up and punches are unloaded with venom we may see Rigo have some shaky moments.

It's a great fight really is mate. Computer game speed and skills. It's special and i hope it delivers.

Can Rigondo a Bradley? He jabs thin air, it looks like a "feeler" jab, but he appears busy doing it. Bradley clocked up rounds by looking busier in the Pacquiao fight, regardless of connection %. I know this is a totally different fight, but Rig is very similar to Bradley IMHO.

Just got a feeling Donaire will bypass that shitty jab, and hit Rig with a few inside super fast.

I think Donaire wins by KO/TKO and blows Rig away, dont think he will let the fight get away, or let him dictate the fight, Donaire will get it over and done with, he wont let Rig get into a rhythm and he will come out to stun/hurt Rig.

Dunno what round if Im honest. Cant see this fight going beyond 6. Rig looked seriously unsteady in his last fight. He looked shaky, and Marroquin connected a few times with single punches. Donaire will come out to throw punches in bunches. I reckon it will overpower and overwhelm Rig, and he will be on his arse a few times, before the fight is over.

Tried to keep this prediction as short as poss, sorry if it aint in depth as usual. :good

I noticed Rigo using Everlast in the pad session with Diaz. I wonder if he will use them instead of Cleto's. Could be he wants the extra width on the glove to pick off shots.

I dont think he will be given the chance to throw his shots, Donaire will be in and out. Demolition job. Kicks ass, but wastes no time taking the names.

Bradley and Rig are similar fighters, Donaire will learn from his friend Pacquiao's mistake, and get the fight over and done with. If he starts slow and lets Rig do his thing, then the judges will score rounds for Rig just for looking busy and nobody should complain if he takes them.

Donaire cant let fighters like that do that, and after seeing him dismantle Arce in quick time fashion, I dont think he will be looking to waste much time in this fight, in and out.

I don't see how a low output fighter like Rigo can hope to win a fight with Donaire by staying out of range and refusing to engage. He needs to step inside to try and take advantage of his slight speed advantage over the Filipino. He won't do that, simply because Nonito is such a sharp puncher.

Mikael Zewski fight starting now...he is one of my big tips for future star at Welterweight and would splatter Kell Brook.

How they look, similar throw away jabs, similar stance. Smart fighters. Might be just me.

I personally dont think Donaire will let that crap start, they dont pay overtime. Early night for both men. If it goes 12, Ill be pleasantly surprised though....if it goes 12, I reckon it could be a close fight. Still think Donaire's output will win the fight though.

Any idea what time for ring walks? I'm already nodding of, and I was gonna score it.....:bbb

May just watch it tomorrow, if I can stay away from the result....:think

Dwyer is just clueless. He focuses on a hypothetical outcome based on incredibly shallow analysis. This is a man who though James DeGale was a pound for pound standard fighter.
