    Soccia is staying in Canning's wheelhouse, putting up a limp but persistent jab into his throat and slapping with left hook and right cross combos from inches away. Canning can't get a punch in edgewise, with no room to breathe, and is throwing fat wide shots anyway - hitting a lot of Soccia's biceps.

    does anyone think Rigondeaux will actually be very competitive? I think he is too small and his chin is untested.

    Both men are tired, chucking weak slow wet noodle arm punches. Neither is defending worth a lick, getting caught with jabs and made to blink or involuntarily rock back a step. Soccia is slightly busier, putting in some double uppercuts leaning in - although quality is extremely low all around.

    10-9 Soccia just by virtue of being the least shitty combatant in the ring, not that he did anything to really earn ten points.

    The good thing is he's not punchy. :good He's merely a fan.

    I really miss Tarver. I wish Showtime would put him back on the air. If not, HBO should hire him.

    If Rigo's chin holds up he will win rather comfortably. A far better skilled fighter than Donaire.

    Soccia is tagging Canning with long right hands and seeming to phase him more and more. Canning is exhausted and getting hit flush, but staying up and flopping back with his own soft right hands over the top. Left hook by Soccia stepping outside. Combination to the face by Soccia. Canning keeps his legs underneath him somehow, and throws a slapping combo to Soccia's hips. Left hook across the mouth by Canning as Soccia stands and stares dumbly at him. Light body shots traded back and forth.
