I think he is harder to hit flush than Bradley, Bradley seems to me more open, however he is willing to trade more. But unlike Bradley, Bradley is willing and able to fight different fights if need be, I don't think Rig is, he seems comfortable on the outside throwing that "jab" out, whereas Bradley has proved he can mix it up. However I am here to be proved wrong tonight, if Donaire turns it on early and Rig comes through the early storm looking comfortable and manages to press his own game on the fight. Then it could be an interesting fight. If Donaire shows little respect for that "jab" and comes in with mean intentions, he could steamroll Rig and walk straight through that nonsense. If Rig concentrates to much on trying to get a feel with that "jab", Donaire will catch him cold. For me, the fight depends on one thing, how Donaire comes to fight, if he comes in like the Arce fight, then I cant see it going past 6, if he comes in strictly for a boxing match, then we might have a competitive fight. Rig would prefer that sort of fight, I'm sure. (edit: I just know I aint gonna make it through this fight if it drags on, i cant make it guys....leave me..... )
Powering through the night. Piece of cake at the minute though I'll most likely be dead by 4am and struggle to take anything in.
JESSE HART fighting now...who could be a future big star. You can see undercard here: http://www.toprank.tv/index.jsp BOXNATION Live coverage starts at 3am although it's started already now showing some older fights.
I could have a coffee, but when I have it when sleepy, it makes me feel even worse. I will try to stay awake, but I'll be out for the count by the 2nd round. I just know it. If this was a major mega fight, I'd be wide awake until 6-7am, still thinking about the fight when the birds start tweeting.
After seeing a couple rounds of Jess Hart i doubt he'll make much impact in the Super Middle division.
I think he looked alright, better than Ronald Hearns, Aaron Pryor Jr. etc.. He's only 23 and has good power, so maybe he'll develop into a good fighter. His amateur record seems pretty impressive too. I'd say he's an interesting prospect. If he's guided well, he might reach a good level.
