Rigo did do some running in the middle rounds but most of the fight he schooled Donaire by good old-fashion boxing.
I agree he didn't come to fight. He came to SCHOOL Donaire on the finer points of boxing. Donaire was completely confused and so was his trainer...all Garcia said was we gotta try something different. Oh yeah? Can you be more specific please?
Anyone who claims Rigo ran should be instantly banned from this website forever, I've seen a few people already. You do not appreciate boxing if you call that running. That bout was arguably as highly skilled bout you are likely to see this year.
That happened just in the last round when Donaire got hit by Rigon's left hook, and that was the round that I saw him doing something. I'm not Donaire's fan but I just didn't like the way they fought, OK?
Sure looks like it was Donaire running in the 12th. Stupid fans think Rigo should just stand still for Donaire. Then go watch Donaire beat up a heavy bag! Heavy bags don't move. Donaire didn't win the exchanges when Rigo LET him. The only reason Donaire got the knockdown was because Rigo thought they were in a clinch and the ref was going to step in.
