Rigondeaux still bossed the preceding two minutes before Donaire's big left hook...and if beer-addled memory serves he landed a big left of his own that stunned Donaire after it. :think

That was a great moment for Nonito in a vacuum, but taken in sum it doesn't tip all three minutes of action his way.

Donaire may have won two rds tops lets be generous no way in hell did he win more than 3 and he lost 9 cant judges score a fight anymore

I felt even tho DOniare knocked him down in the 10th or w/e round that was, he came back and actually won the remainder of that round.

that knockdown was nothing but a flash and a slipup/off balance. rigo thought the ref would come on the break

 

118-109 Rigondeaux. Like IB posted earlier, very straightforward scoring. Fully agreed with Lederman for the first time in quite awhile, also. Don't know what Dan Rafael or the judges were on about. Donaire was taken to school, with the sole exception of the 10th round knockdown. Even then, Rigondeaux resumed control by round's end. Hard to justify giving rounds away to Donaire when he could scarcely land a solid head punch for the majority of the fight. :/

 

116-111 for Donaire. He was the aggressor through the entire fight and Rirunwho pulled a DLH through the entire thing. I can understand if someone has it closer 115-112 though for Donaire.

Exactly. I still scored it 10-8, but Rigondeaux finished the round nicely and was not hurt from the flash knockdown.
