I had picked Donaire by decision. But was really anticipating a great fight...it didn't turn out that way. But instead it was an immaculate boxing performance against an excellent offensive fighter. Major props to Rigondeaux! What an awesome display of boxing.:good:good
Lovely performance from Rigo, who showed patience, focus, and (surprisingly to me) a nasty right hook. I was vacillating on a pick, so I can't gloat (even though I did pick Rigo by SD in kirk's league when all was said and done), but it was certain fun to watch Rigo outbox a high quality opponent in such impressive fashion.
man i was shouting at the tv the whole time, when Rigondeaux was trading at parts i was like WTF are you doing because Donaire was swinging a few times but man, i said ages ago in a thread and i said to myself what happens if Rigo takes Donaire's punch then recovers and carries on, then i was thinking nah that can't happen thats too good to be true The guy took a flush punch on which i thought was a terrible chin but good recovery skills, recovered took the round off then won the last 2 also ****ing up Donaire's eye in the process I love this sport i cant wait for his next fights

I went completely quiet when he got knocked down, i was staring at his legs to make sure he recovered, then straight away i knew he was fine In the last after he was clearly winning i wanted him to run away because he got alot of punches in there was no point in going for the stoppage, perfect performance
