Maybe, but he would still be busier than Donaire. Rigo - Donaire was very good boxer/counter puncher against master counter puncher and mover: Pac - Mayweather would have been great offensive fighter vs great defensive fighter and counter puncher. Some similarities between Rigo and Mayweather maybe but it's not a very good comparasion by the OP, even if it may have been a schooling (but we will never know)

Pac has no where near the boxing skills of Rigo and Donaire no where near the brains and adaptability of Mayweather. Weak argument.:bbb

Pac is faster than Donaire and throws punches at different angles which Floyd is not used to.

No. But i believe Pac will receive more beating than what happened to Donaire against Rigo.

he also throws himself off balance and clearly runs into shots when set up from smart counterpunches

honestly the more boxing i learnt over the years the clearer this fight looks

    this thread is so ******ed

Nonito is a counter puncher and pacquiao isnt, pacquiao is a busy fighter, nonito isn't

    Pacquiao > Mayweather

Not saying Pacquiao would beat floyd, but this thread is stupid.

Pacquiao = southpaw, floyd = orthodox, nonito =

just leave it, this thread is stupid

Yep people need to realize tha great offense and power can be neutralized by great defense and movement. slick counter punchers like rigo and pbf will continue to dish out boxing lessons and prove people wrong. pbf against pac would have been similar and only a delusional **** would think otherwise. too slick too black deal with it haters.

Pac being busier would have only played more into Floyds hands. Giving pbf more countering opportunities. Pac would have been beaten up and possibly stopped by pbf.

    Mayweather doesn't move like Rigo.

    Give Rigo his props.

Rigo at this point is better than Mayweather. Mayweather is too stationary at this point in his career.

    Mayweather does not equal Rigo.

Knowing the results of recent fights, in terms of seeing a one-sided rout, yes maybe but would have to see how Pacquiao fares in his next fight if and when he does come back. I meant one-sided in favor of Floyd.

Nah, Pacquiao would've took more chances.

And he'd probably be beaten worse in terms of punches accumulated, but at least he'd have tried to make it. Donaire let the mid rounds slip, knowing full well Rigo won them rounds.
