You said both of them are one dimensional. Rob called you out on Nate, not Nick. :good

While true, I don't think either are one dimensional, as they are both very legit threats to most opponents on both the ground and the feet.

As I said, you can't be called one dimensional when you are a BJJ blackbelt with effective boxing. That can be applied to both Nick and Nate.

I didn't say he was right. You specifically addressed Nate, and he came at you about Nick.

That's true what you say, and they are both quality fighters no doubt. :good

I call them "one-dimensional" because both of them seem to fight exactly the same way every time out, and neither of them seem to be good at ad******g mid-fight. They both seem fairly clueless when it comes to fight plans - either their style works and they win, or it doesn't work and they lose a decision. Both of them had title fights recently where they lost 5 rounds to 0, and neither of them seemed to made adjustments on the fly.

I remember Benson punching Nate in the lead thigh several times during their fight. That was obviously a move that Nate didn't expect leading into the fight, and Benson landed it over and over. Nate didn't adjust at all, and lost a 50-45 decision. He didn't really seem to try anything different, and neither did his brother in his loss to Condit. :good

    That is true. :good

And Nate does come across as slightly less of a moron than Nick does, both in and out of the cage. :yep

I think it may be his voice compared to Nick. Nick has said and done more outlandish things than his brother.

Yeah I don't see Nate as being particularly sharp or witty or well-read or knowledgeable, but at least he's a professional. He shows up, meets his obligations, doesn't whine like a ***** ALL the time about EVERYTHING, doesn't run his mouth nearly as much and generally comes across as much more functional than Nick does. Also he seems like a nicer guy - Nick seems very paranoid and hyper-sensitive. :good

And his standoff with Karo on his TUF season was gold. That **** was hilarious. :rofl

That season is being replayed on Fuel (I think), I saw the 1st episode last night. When BJ made all the fighters raise their hands to see who wanted to be on his team  BJ really never gave a flying **** about what Dana White thinks, and it showed right there.

But I agree with everything you said. Nate seems like a genuinely good dude, put in some crappy circumstances. Nick has always seemed like he had a bit more of bad in him than Nate. :deal
