Both fighters should still be included in the top 10, imo. Just because Rigo taught Nonito a lesson doesn't mean the latter isn't one of the very best in the world.

Rigo is the ****en man... Dominated Donaire, in only his 12th pro fight! Sick Am record and Abner is next baby! The Sky is the limit.. Rigo P4P #1... If he was Floyds size he would box his ears off.. Oh yeah and Rigo ducks no one! He will fight atleast twice a year as well..

You just can't sit around being inactive and cherry picking and still be concidered P4P IMO.
And btw everyone on that list is either old, shot, small or recently lost.
Ward easily wins and unbiased fans know this.

 

Floyd is not pound for pound number 1 , this fighter is overrated and avoided the best possible opponent for him.

 

p4p: Who is the best fighter if there were no weight divisions and everybody was the same weight. Who is the best fighter in the world, size is out of the equation. You can stay in the one weight division your whole career and be a dominant p4p fighter, it's got nothing to do with going up or down divisions you idiot.

 

I'm glad Rigo got his shot. I hope Lara gets his shot too. I root for the Cubans. The fact that they had to go through huge hurdles just to get a chance to compete professionally is enough reason to want them to succeed.

 

As I said Nonito was overrated as ****! He was the big deal in a division with limited talent pool. Mostly small ass asians and latinos fight there. As soon the first great boxer came across he lost badly.
To be dominant in the welterweight division is much more impressiv than to be dominant in these small divisions.

Difference between Rigo and Floyd, Floyd never wanted to fight the best in his division. Rigo was desperate to fight the best and absolutely schooled him with a win more impressive than any Floyd has over his entire career...in the meanwhile Floyd prepares for his fight with Robert Guerrero

Rigo>Floyd. Slicker, faster, bigger puncher, better footwork.

 

Talent wise i wouldnt argue with that he just needs a deeper resume to back it up, he already has a better win on his record than any of Floyd's wins in just his 12th fight, a shame he couldnt turn pro early on he would be a legend by now.
