The crowd are really getting into Miss Angel Peters' emotional rendition of Indonesia Jaya.

They are in need of some sweet soothing after what they just witnessed in the co-feature. Maybe the Bung Karno Stadium concession stand has some comfort food, like ramen noodles...

A dragon versus a bazooka. This is like 5-year-old IB's epic fantasy battle wet dream come true.

Stupid question, was Vetyeka a mandatory or optional defense for Yordan? The answer might determine whether a rematch occurs on the next John card.

Well I didn't quite want to get that disrespectful so close to having achieved something like stopping the Stone man. (even though it's still probably enough of a gap in talent between him and the phenomenal Rigondeaux to say "poor man's"...)

Let's just say "lower-middle-class man's Rigondeaux" or somewhere thereabouts on the fiscal bracket. :yep

    Round 1

Hosono is circling quickly to his left, ducking and flapping his left arm out as he comes up with hooks. John doubles the jab from outside, brushing Hosono's forehead with it. John uses some erratic patterns in his footwork, leading Hosono around in a jerky zigzag while beating his jab to the mark. John is rolling with the few Hosono jabs touching him and sticking his straight into Hosono's face. They trade long body shots from outside and the ref administers a warning to keep them up. Hosono is catching John's jabs on his left palm and looking to time him with a counter. John ducks low and swipes a hook at the body, then darts out.

    10-9 John

    Round 2

Hosono is forcing his jab out and not quite reaching John with it. Hosono is very tight and rigid. John circles around him and performs compass turns, pivoting on his lead foo and swinging the rear one far out to create extra space and step diagonally further out. Lots of clinching by John. Hosono is applying pressure but missing his head punches. Jabs up and down by John in between grabbing. Left hook to the belt line by Hosono. They stand toe to toe and trade jabs and stone-skippers.

    10-9 John but closer

    20-18 John

In his last fight, John was able to keep Piriyapinyo at bay for first several rounds. This fight is shaping up through first two rounds as a 12-round brawl.

Yeah...not quite destitute, clearly above the poverty line, not on food stamps or anything - but not well off either. No summer beach house, nahmsayin?

The handspeed and movement on show look slow after watch Rigo-Donaire, and it looks sloppy in comparasion. But its a decent scrap so far, decent exchanges
