:huh Wouldn't that be the normal reaction, though? If a fighter who you regard as a sensational fighter that was supposed to dominate, is then completely outclassed, surely you'd then praise the one who just beat him. You wouldn't all of a sudden regard the former as crap, because that just insults the winner's victory and ability. Some of us prefer to acknowledge Rigo for his brilliance, instead of talking **** on Donaire.

What about him? Donaire is/was a better fighter than Chico (R.I.P.)

I find it harder and harder to justify putting Floyd in the top 5 seeing his inactivity and lack of desire to fight the best out there.
Can't justify putting Rigondeaux at nr1 though.... top 3 or 4 at the most.

Still behind Ward and Marquez for me.

Nonito was top 3-5 by many, and as much as a fan I am I never thought he deserved FOTY 2012. He beat big names, but Arce, Nishioka, and Montiel before 2012 were either done or overrated. Arce struggling vs B-C class opponents at home, Nishioka gets a dodgy win over a shot Rafa Marquez who was schooling him, and after seeing Montiel getting dropped for the 6-7th time in his career vs Valdez I knew he wouldn't last vs Nonito. Had Nonito faced or beaten a Mares, Rigo, or Moreno, he'd rightfully earned a top 5 p4p spot. He always seemed naturally much bigger than his opponents even than Rigo. Very skillful, but overpowered his opponents easily. Either way great win for Rigo even if Nonito is top 10 it wasn't even close and Rigo looked like a top 5 p4p in doing it.

well Floyds last fight was against Cotto. Trout then beat Cotto and hes not top 10 p4p so RIgos win over DOnaire is way better and p4p is about your last 1 or 2 fights

Ward never fought an unbeaten guy. The only time he could have, he ducked him.

I'd say he might have a literal case. LOL.
I find it hard to argue that he isn't one of the best boxers in the world right now.
