why all the laughing heads Billy do you think these guys are not good enough sparring partners for scott

 

Just watched end of Donairs fight early Sunday morning.Advertised for next weeks bill is main event plus the Chisora mismatch plus "more fights".No mention of this one.Surely this more worthy of mention than Chisora?Am I reading too much into that?

 

Not at at mate all are good boxers but hes claiming Rickys sparring partners aren't the best in comparison,weve had Adil Anwar,Ashley Theophane,Bradley Saunders,Curtis Woodhouse,Terry Flannagan,Tommy Coyle,Martin Gethin,Ahmet Patterson all of whom have gave Ricky good sparring:good
As i say Martin Ward is only 21 and reminds me of Scott when he was young,gaining experience with better fighters and learning its imo what made Scott the fighter he became.

 

The first sentence sums it up just about perfectly.
Nobody including me(initally) thought Ricky could win a world title but something seemed to click during the training for Martinez he became stronger and more confident in the gym and since hasnt looked back.
Every and i mean every sparring partner has claimed Ricky is the best they have shared a ring with,which in itself his a fantastic compliment,can't wait till the 11th May for him to showcase his skills again and give his public a show the deserve :good

 

Ricky had posted a pic of a fat guy sitting at a computer saying "Billy Nelson", just a laugh mate.

These lads have sparred Ricky for his fight with Mitchell,the two cancelled fights and this one,never explained myself right sorry:good

 

I'm never betting on anyone to beat Burns again, the Martinez and Katsidis fights cost me £275.... both by KO too :yikes

Luckily betting £50 on him to knock Mitchell out re-couped £250 of that.

Billy I know with you being at the centre of scottish boxing you would know who Scott was sparring, and your post proved thst, so why did you ask who he was sparring in an earlier post if you know? And as for being Proud of Ricky, I was clearly talking about a persific aspect, which was his inability to school a 21 year old novice in sparring ! Ricky should be sparring better opponents as he has money to pay for top sparring. As you know when scott was world champion he was sparring with the likes of Alex Arthur and Graham Earl, better. In there day than what Ricky spars with. I bet your not on forum nexr sunday after Scott beats Walsh, lol.
