Mess with the baby bull, you get the baby horns! :toney [DM]xyzy38[/DM] It's nothing to fly over the moon about - all nine of Pipino Cuevas Jr.'s previous losses were by knockout - but Diaz looked sharp for coming off such a layoff. The accurate nose smashing jab, the hard paddled body combos, the intelligent pressure without leaving defensive gaps. Everything firing on all cylinders.
Very nice, he has some good fights at 135 like Gamboa, Titere that UK kid... hope he gets a shot at the big stage
I hope Juan retires, I would hate to see him sacrificed to Broner or have to fight someone like Crawford.
Awesome, thanks for posting IB. Cuevas Jr. wasn't the kind of opponent that was going to greatly enhance his resume, it was a measure for his sharpness. And it sounds like he was very sharp, which is good news. He'd give a lot of people problems at 135.
I'd be worried about his durability at this point. His head also seems to stay in the center. He doesn't seem to move his head as much anymore.
