seems like the ultimate in hypocrisy why not applaud and be excited about the clinical boxing lessons the K2 Bros give at the heavyweight level.at least they get an occasional highlight reel KO

I find the Klits and Rigo equally boring and don't understand these chess match gurus as they should love the Klits as well, whats the deal here?

Maybe because Rigo is a 5'4 122 fighter...and the Klits are ****ing 6'6 and 250....

Can you not see the differences between Rigo & Wlad?

One enjoys every physical advantage over weak opposition & still fights scared. The other just schooled a bigger, stronger p4p rated opponent & made it look easy.

It's pretty hard to put on a clinic on a taller bigger opponent who is ranked p4p and is pretty much undefeated as a pro. In your 11th fight.

Im not a Rigo fan, and am a big fan of Wlad.... but the reasons why, some which have already been stated in this thread, are shockingly obvious.

Obviously fans of a fighter will root for him no matter what, even when contrary to other things they say. And I'm not saying that's a bad thing.

I don't think you can compare excitement between Rigo and the Klitschko's. The Klitschko's come forward and want to fight.

Rigondeaux didn't take a step forward the first 11 rounds. He was impressive when he did in the 12th, but that was the first time in the whole fight. Rigo dominated by whatever means he needed to, major props to him. You see how little interest there is in the Klitschko's in the US, so one would imagine that Rigo will not generate a huge fan base, in my opinion. Winning changes everything though and Donaire is the best scalp in the whole sport south of welter.

None of Rigondeaux's fights compares to the Ibragimov fight.

I definitly wouldn't call what I've seen yesterday a masterfull performance, like others did. I'll rewatch it, but it didn't look like Martinez vs Chavez Jr. to me. Sergio, like Rigondeaux, showed better movement and a great use of the jab but he was clearly able to show his supremecy with some combinations here and there. Like Ali did. I saw a cowardingly boring fight yesterday with Donaire too afraid to truely engage and Rigondeaux running everytime a punch went anywhere near him. The classic orthodox vs southpaw fight, with the orthodox looking to land his damn left hook through the shoulder of the southpaw, who's pawing meaningless right jabs.

Rigondeaux's footwork and punches were perfect yesterday, he should've displayed more clearly that he was the superior boxer.

These ******s always do it, after a Mayweather fight = this thread, after a Hopkins fight = this thread, after a Ward fight = this thread :tired:patsch

  15. Show me some evidence that the people shitting on the Klitschkos are the same people who are praising Rigondeaux.

Until you do, this is just a terrible generalization used as an excuse to make a shitty thread.
