    Racism.

    Plain and simple racism.

The people who praise Rigo and criticise the Klits are self-hating white guys who live in their parents basements.

The win against Donaire is better than any win the Klitschko's have done.

The skill level involved from Rigo was crazy. With Klitschko's there's such little action and the skill level is no way near that of the lower weights.

Heavyweights look like big slow plodders.

agree......yet Donire for his part wasn't exactly throwing caution to the wind and he was losing bigtime....the scores were ridiculous Donaire won only 2 rds by my scoring.

Matinez was fighting Chavez JR! Rigo was fighting a top 5 p4p fighter who can end the fight with one punch.

To compare their displays without taking into consideration the level of opponent each guy had in front of him is foolish.

Rigo controlled the distance perfect, his timing was superb, he used the ring like a master, his energy control (not wasting energy with useless and pointless movement) was elite, his defense on point outside of 1 or 2 shots, in fact almost every aspect of his game yesterday was masterful.

I didn't get to see the whole fight. What kind of high-level skills did Rigo show? I know he feinted, countered, and had great footwork.

    :deal

Wlad hardly moves. He just pulls his head back, using his height advantage, then he clinches if his opponent comes inside. He also rarely throws combinations, just one safe punch at a time.

Rigo moves like a ballet dancer, has incredible head-movement as well, and when he counters, it's often with well-placed flurries.

Rigo backs away a lot, but the entire time he's looking for an opening to counter. He is ALWAYS in the fight. Compare that to Wlad, who often takes several rounds off.

No comparison at all. Just not at all.

Rido did exactly what Wlad did against Ibragimov and even managed to get knocked down somehow :rofl:patsch

the fight was complete with booing and boxing writers calling it 'boring'

Yet is was a 'masterclass' performance by Rigo? :huh

    Was Wlad's a 'masterclass' performance?

Hell Brits in this very thread were calling Haye's performance against Valuex 'masterclass' and are mocking this thread that is hilarious and pitiful :rofl

Rigo just schooled the P4P number 5 guy. Deal with it.

This sums up a lot of what I read here. When people start threads like this they need to present examples. Not just ' some people say this, some people say that, and that equals hypocrisy'. Let's get some actual naming and shaming going on up in here.
